The Los Angeles Lakers have been at the top of the NBA rumors cycle all offseason. A majority of their moves have come from the free agency market, but the latest introduces some trade rumors. Where will Dalton Knecht play next year? He saw his minutes drop from 19.2 to 10.2 in his sophomore season. These three teams are great change-of-scenery landing spots for Knecht.
Atlanta Hawks

The Atlanta Hawks are currently viewed as the most likely landing spot for Knecht. A sign-and-trade for Jonathan Kuminga has been heavily rumored, and he would likely be involved, as well as Jarred Vanderbilt. Knecht fits well with the Hawks, giving them added bench spacing and another piece to develop as they push towards contention.

Philadelphia 76ers

The Philadelphia 76ers are a sneaky team here as they continue to search for valuable depth pieces. They have a trade exception worth just over $4 million, so Knecht would slot in there nicely. He would be another scorer off the bench, joining Anfernee Simons as the main threats. The trade wouldn’t cost Philadelphia much, maybe a few second-round picks.
Charlotte Hornets

The Charlotte Hornets, at one point, thought they would have Knecht at this moment. The failed Mark Williams trade rescinded that, but Charlotte clearly has interest in the former first-rounder. Could they revisit that this offseason as they undergo their roster turnaround? It does make a lot of sense.
End Of My Los Angeles Lakers Rumors Dalton Knecht Rant
Knecht has taken an extremely disappointing turn for the Lakers. He was viewed as a fantastic scorer to perfectly fit the Lakers’ play style. Now, he rides the bench and basically wastes away. A change of scenery is desperately needed, and these three landing spots could get him back on the right track.
