NFL Draft 2024: Wide Receiver Landing Spots

The 2024 National Football League Draft is almost here which means that the franchise-changing day for some teams is right around the corner. This draft has a stacked wide receiver class that could see many wideouts be selected within the first two rounds.

This article will pick a couple of landing spots for each of the top receiver prospects in this year's draft class. Where will star receivers Marvin Harrison Jr, Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze, Brian Thomas Jr, and Xavier Worthy go? Let's speculate!

Where Should They Go?

Marvin Harrison Jr (Ohio State) - Projected Top 5

Where He Should Go: Arizona Cardinals

Why: The Cardinals upgraded their offensive line and have a good running back in James Conner. Now the team needs a star wide receiver for Kyler Murray and Marvin Harrison Jr will be an elite playmaker right away.

Malik Nabers (LSU) - Projected Top 10

Where He Should Go: New York Giants

Why: New York desperately needs a WR1 and even though JJ McCarthy at quarterback is an option, Nabers will be a great superstar in the NFL and give Daniel Jones or whoever starts at quarterback someone potentially elite to throw to.

Rome Odunze (Washington) - Projected Top 10

Where He Should Go: Chicago Bears

Why: The Bears have DJ Moore and Keenan Allen but imagine Caleb Williams throwing to Rome Odunze. The Bears would be the perfect place for any young quarterback to start their career if the organization can develop Williams unlike Mitchell Trubisky and Justin Fields.

Brian Thomas Jr (LSU) - Projected First Round

Where He Should Go: Buffalo Bills

Why: Buffalo might need a trade up to acquire the LSU star, but Thomas would easily replace Stefon Diggs in Western New York. There is a lack of options for star quarterback Josh Allen but pairing him with Thomas will help the Bills reach closer to the Super Bowl like Joe Burrow did with another LSU star in Ja’Marr Chase in 2022.

Xavier Worthy (Texas) - Projected Late First Round

Where He Should Go: Kansas City Chiefs

Why: The defending champions could use a speedy receiver like Worthy. The Texas star would give Patrick Mahomes the deep threat receiver he has been missing since Tyreek Hill was traded away a few years ago.
