Gunther is simply tired of having to put up with Jey Uso’s babbling and “Yeet-ing”, so he took matters into his own hands in last week’s “Monday Night Raw” episode. He delivered what can simply be called a biblical beatdown, but not to Jey.

As most WWE fans know, Gunther and Jey Uso are set for a big World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Gunther Fires Up His Feud With Jey Uso In Big Segment

Their feud has heated up over the past few weeks. Gunther, the WWE World Champion. has been sneaky at times, creeping up on Jey when he’s not looking. Once getting Jey in his clutches, Gunther has slapped on sleeper holds to KO Jey.

Things really heated up last Monday. Jimmy Uso arrived on the scene and decided to get involved in his brother’s business. Gunther and Jimmy squared off, eventually leading to a blood-curdling conclusion. Gunther defeated Jimmy in their match, but the Austrian tough guy was not done yet at all.

He came back into the ring and beat Jimmy senseless. This led to Jey Uso running down to the ring at London’s The O2 Arena, where fans were overjoyed to see him appear. He and Gunther traded blows, but the champ had a little trick up his sleeve, so to speak. He found a zip tie and wrapped it around Jey’s wrist, tying him to the ropes.

Before this took place, Gunther slammed Jimmy’s head outside the ring. As Gunther and Jey were barking at one another, Jimmy staggered to his feet in a bloody mess. Jey looked on helplessly as his brother was beat up over and over again. That angry man picked up Jimmy and power-bombed his helpless body on the mat.

Bloody Jimmy Uso Added A Much-Needed Extra Touch

Then, Gunther did the unthinkable. He started beating Jimmy Uso up even more, driving Jey absolutely nuts. In another dastardly action, the champ wiped his hand over Jimmy’s bleeding forehead. He then wiped Jimmy’s blood all over his chest. After finishing his dirty work, Gunther dragged Jimmy’s body over to where Jey could reach out to his brother. Let’s not forget what prompted Gunther to respond in this diabolical way. Jimmy slapped the champ so hard on the previous “Monday Night Raw” that it shook him up.

This WrestleMania match needed a little extra boost to it. Sure, Gunther and Jey have been bickering back and forth over the past few weeks. But to really get fans hooked into the match, something big needed to happen. Consider that mission accomplished.

How much of an impact did this segment between Gunther and the Usos have on WWE fans? The Instagram video of it gained more than four million views. The X/Twitter video had 1.2 million views as of Saturday, April 5. This single segment did more to ensure a slobber knocker of a match than anything done between these two guys. WrestleMania 41 fever just hit a new level and those fans in Vegas are going to be screaming their heads off. Who will win here? Let’s see if WWE might pull a title change in the match.

End of My Gunther Rant

Gunther

Gunther is an old-school “heel,” reminding some really old professional wrestling fans of a guy named Johnny Valentine. He does not have the most chiseled physique among WWE SuperStars. That doesn’t matter. His in-ring and promo work are top notch. Gunther has established himself as a solid bad guy. Watching him destroy Jimmy Uso while Jey looked on helpless was must-see TV. Their match in Vegas just might steal the show. The World Champion will bring his “A” game and should walk out still as champion.
