Love Tate to the Tennessee Titans. He will step right in to a big role with a quarterback like Cam Ward, who can make tough throws downfield.
For the vast majority of the pre-draft process, Tate has been the consensus #1 WR in this class. At Ohio State in 2025, he put up 875 yards on 51 catches while sharing targets in one of the best WR rooms.
Tate is a perimeter wide receiver who prioritizes separation through polished routes and securing the ball in any situation. He presents as an extremely polished and low-risk athlete, capable of anchoring an aerial attack with efficiency and positional discipline.
The biggest area of focus is sustainability against physical defenses. He tends to be neutralized on aggressive initial contact. Plus, his modest production after the catch requires him to evolve physically so he doesn’t become a player purely reliant on technique.

In 2025, Tyson had 61 catches for 711 receiving yards and eight touchdowns for the Sun Devils. His position coach in college was WR Hines Ward, formerly of the Pittsburgh Steelers. His brother, Jaylon Tyson, plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Tyson operates as a technical receiver who wins through positional intelligence and the ability to dominate the catch point. Tyson bases his game on fluid movement and exceptional hand-eye coordination.
Tyson has a limited physical ceiling due to a lack of elite speed. He has an extensive history of traumatic college injuries makes him a “high-risk, high-reward” prospect.

Lemon was a Biletnikoff Award winner and an All-American. In 2025, he had 79 receptions for 1,156 receiving yards and 11 touchdowns.
Lemon operates as a route-precision and spatial-awareness receiver, prioritizing separation through detail and securing possession in short and intermediate windows. He is an athlete who dominates the middle of the field and provides total security for the quarterback.
Lemon has physical limitations despite his fierce competitiveness. The key watchpoint in his profile is effectiveness against constant physical contact. His player comparison are Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp.
In 2025, Cooper had 69 receptions for 937 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns in 16 games. He emerged as a leading receiver during Indiana’s National Championship-winning season.
There was a clear need to add receivers, and Cooper brings exactly that for the New York Jets. He is a high-level player who will be an immediate starter and help to lay the foundation for their eventual franchise QB.
Cooper bases his game on physicality and efficiency after the catch. He plays as a volume and power receiver, using his compact frame to punish the secondary and secure yards in contact situations.
Cooper needs to balance his reliance on brute strength with greater technical refinement. His NFL comps are Deebo Samuel and Khalil Shakir.

This year’s rookie WR class is billed as being one of the best and deepest in recent memory. Tate is the safest pick, Tyson has true WR1 potential, Lemon knows how to get wide open, and Cooper is the most explosive wide receiver.
This class has really good spatial awareness when running routes and seems to play with a veteran mindset for the most part. Not only could wide receivers go much higher than expected, but it could be another trade-down possibility for several NFL teams that need to snag a WR.
