WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event returns this Saturday from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. With four championships, including the inaugural Women’s United States Champion, this will be a fantastic event.

WWE Women’s World Championship

Liv Morgan is set to defend the Women’s World Championship against Iyo Sky. Iyo is undoubtedly the better in-ring talent, but Liv may be the bigger needle-mover for WWE. Liv is also on a run with The Judgment Day and her new heavy in Raquel Rodriguez. Iyo steals the show, but I see Liv Morgan retaining it with some outside interference.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship

Gunther will be defending the World Heavyweight Championship in a triple threat against Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Priest already dropped the title to Gunther and then lost the rematch, so it’s hard to picture him winning this match. This one will likely be stiff and the hardest-hitting match of the evening. Finn Balor does have an outside shot at this, considering the run of The Judgment Day and the fact he never got a title run after being injured as the inaugural Universal Champion, but my money is still on Gunther. There just hasn’t been a big enough build-up with Finn to make it worthwhile to ruin Gunther’s run.

Sami Zayn Versus Drew McIntyre

Sami Zayn and Drew McIntyre are scheduled for a singles match after McIntyre blindsided Zayn on the most recent episode of Raw. Sami Zayn is usually used as a complimentary piece to a storyline, whereas Drew McIntyre always seems involved in a significant singles storyline. There will be plenty of great false finishes but it’s going to ultimately be Drew McIntyre victorious.

Undisputed WWE Championship

WWE

Cody Rhodes will be defending the Undisputed WWE Championship against the recent heel-turn of Kevin Owens. Owens recently used a piledriver on television, which was previously banned. It may be a work but it certainly adds to Owens’ run and how they are billing him as unhinged and unstoppable. I think Kevin will take Cody to the limit, leave him beaten and bloody all to job, and sell the babyface comeback story.

WWE Women’s United States Championship

Saving this one for last, as we are writing this before SmackDown. The winner of Bayley and Chelsea Green will face the winner of Michin and Tiffany Stratton to determine the inaugural Women’s United States Championship. It makes the most sense to have the veteran Bayley and the up-and-coming talent Tiffany Stratton faceoff in this historic match. Stratton may already be the better wrestler and certainly is more athletic but it seems more likely to give it to the future hall-of-famer for the monumental inauguration.

That wraps up the WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event Predictions. WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura awaits to host the event and it’s sure to be historic.
