Bron Breakker lost five WWE matches to sides featuring Penta between Oct. 5 and Oct. 19. Over the same stretch, the former NXT Champion defended the World Tag Team Championship alongside Austin Theory and traded attacks with Je’Von Evans. Breakker entered October with a year that already included a failed title shot, an injury layoff, and a feud with Seth Rollins.

At Survivor Series on Nov. 29, 2025, Breakker pinned CM Punk to end the WarGames match. On the Jan. 5 Raw, Punk retained the World Heavyweight Championship against the WarGames winner. At the Royal Rumble in Riyadh on Jan. 31, a masked attacker ambushed the Vision member before the match. Oba Femi, the first entrant, eliminated the No. 2 entrant within seconds.

An injury kept Breakker off television after the Feb. 2 Raw until WrestleMania 42. The return came on April 18 in Paradise, Nevada, when a Spear cost Rollins a match against Gunther. The two men then split a pair of premium live event matches. Breakker won at Backlash in Tampa on May 9. Rollins took the steel cage rematch at Night of Champions on June 27 with a Stomp off the middle rope.

Breakker joined the World Tag Team Championship picture with help from Paul Heyman. Logan Paul suffered a torn triceps at Saturday Night’s Main Event on May 23. Heyman invoked the Freebird Rule, and WWE recognized Breakker as Paul’s replacement beside Theory.

The first reign ended on the June 22 Raw in London. Rollins hit Theory with a pair of brass knuckles that Paul had tried to slip into the match, and Montez Ford scored the pin for The Street Profits. The Vision duo regained the titles on July 6 in Rosemont, Illinois, after Maxxine Dupri hit Angelo Dawkins with a low blow.

Penta Keeps Getting The Better Of Bron Breakker

The first loss came on the Oct. 5 Raw, when Penta and Evans beat the World Tag Team Champions. Money in the Bank followed on Oct. 10 in New Orleans. In the ladder match, the former NXT Champion took out Trick Williams, speared Punk and Kevin Owens, and sent Evans through the roof of an ambulance. Penta then dropped Breakker onto a ladder with a Mexican Destroyer and claimed the briefcase.

Two days later on Raw, the Vision member speared Evans, who appeared with taped ribs and an arm in a sling. In Honolulu, LA Knight and Penta beat the tag champions by disqualification on Oct. 16, and Knight, Penta, and Femi topped Breakker, Theory, and Bronson Reed on Oct. 17. The Oct. 16 bout was a title match that ended when Dupri hit Penta with a low blow, so The Vision kept the belts.

Raw General Manager Adam Pearce announced Penta vs. Breakker for the Oct. 19 Raw in San Diego. The match featured a near fall off a Spear. Evans stopped Theory from using the briefcase, then swung it into Breakker behind the referee’s back, and Penta won with a Mexican Destroyer.

As of Oct. 24, Crown Jewel on Nov. 7 at Riyadh Season Stadium had three announced matches. The lineup did not include Breakker, Theory, or the World Tag Team Championship. The three bouts are Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn, Liv Morgan vs. Chelsea Green, and Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton.

End Of My Bron Breakker Rant

WWE is wasting Breakker, and the evidence is all over October. At Money in the Bank, the Vision star ran through Punk, Owens, and Williams and put Evans through the roof of an ambulance. The follow-up was a cheap Spear on a man in a sling, two Honolulu defeats, and a pinfall loss to Penta off a briefcase shot. Momentum does not survive booking like that.

Losing to Penta is not the problem. Mr. Money in the Bank needs wins, and beating a monster is how a briefcase holder gets built. The problem is that Breakker gets nothing back. The scorecard reads five losses in 15 days, no Crown Jewel match, and a tag title reign stuck on the back burner. A star who looked like the best man in New Orleans should not be a prop in Penta’s highlight package.

The fix is not complicated. Breakker beat Rollins at Backlash, pinned Punk in WarGames, and regained tag gold on July 6. WWE needs to put the former NXT Champion in a singles program with real stakes and let the Spear win something that matters. If the company keeps feeding Breakker to the briefcase, the night in New Orleans becomes a footnote instead of a turning point.
