WrestleMania 42 is in the books.
The latest edition of WWE’s annual “season finale” proved to be one of the most polarizing in the event’s history. Besides title changes aplenty, it also featured appearances by multiple celebrities, highlighting TKO’s ever-growing influence on the world’s most prominent wrestling promotion.
As the dust continues to settle from Night Two, here are three surprises that may happen on Monday’s episode of Raw…
3) Liv Morgan Splits From Dominik Mysterio

Liv Morgan was a big winner on Saturday, reclaiming the Women’s World Championship from Stephanie Vaquer with the aid of Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez. Her “boyfriend” Dominik Mysterio, however? Not so much.
The “estranged” son of Rey Mysterio lost to Finn Balor in what was announced to be a Street Fight during the countdown show. Granted, he still has the AAA Mega Championship, but strictly speaking in WWE terms, it is not looking good for him.
With the Judgment Day lacking direction on the men’s side, it is conceivable that Morgan kicks Mysterio and JD McDonagh to the curb and focuses on herself. After all, she cannot be happy at their lack of success compared to her.
2) Roman Reigns Forms An Uneasy Alliance With Seth Rollins

Ever since the Shield broke up in heartbreaking fashion in 2014, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have hated each other. Now, however, they may have to work together.
Reigns is back on top, having won the World Heavyweight Championship from CM Punk. One possible challenger for him is GUNTHER, who defeated Seth Rollins on Saturday. The problem is, Rollins has other problems to deal with, namely Bron Breakker.
A tag match looks likely in the coming weeks, so the two brothers-turned-archenemies better mend their bonds, even if only for this occasion.
1) Asuka vs. Iyo Sky Finally Happens

It is a shame that Asuka did not get to settle her grudge with Iyo Sky over the weekend. Unfortunately, Nikki Bella’s injury caused a massive domino effect that sent TKO to panic mode and made them double down on the nostalgia with Paige.
There were other less intrusive ways Paige could have returned, but what has happened has happened. That being said, here is a new scenario.
Asuka rants about how Sky “chickened out” on her and “pulled strings” backstage to make it happen. Sky comes out, and they brawl.
Recent reports have said that a match is a possibility for Backlash, but how about it happens immediately? The path is clear: Asuka tries to get Kairi Sane to cheat on her behalf, but it backfires, and Sky hits her with a moonsault.
After the match, Asuka attacks Sane, who responds in kind some weeks later. That is the Payback match set — how fitting.
End Of My WrestleMania 42 Rant
What is even more interesting is what will happen on SmackDown this coming Friday.
According to a new report, the finish to Saturday’s Night One main event was not the original plan. Randy Orton was initially going to win his 15th world title, which would have created new possibilities for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
Instead, Cody Rhodes retained after some questionable match flow, though Orton stood tall in the end. Now, it will be interesting to see where WWE takes this rivalry…
