What happened at Elimination Chamber was crazy. John Cena won the Men’s chamber match and will now face Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania. Oh yeah, he also turned heel. John Cena has done so much for this company over the last two decades and he rightfully deserves to win a 17th world title at WrestleMania 41.
Cena winning the title at WrestleMania 41 would be such a momentous accomplishment. Imagine how big it would be on social media and how big of a moment it would be to the wrestling community. Not only is it a big accomplishment, but it would start a monster heel run for him. He can go on a nice little run with the title fighting some of the biggest names he’s fought in the past.
John Cena having a heel run for his record-breaking 17th world title win would be an interesting reign to watch. He would be able to fight some past rivals again, but with the roles reversed. Some of his past great rivalries were with guys like Randy Orton, CM Punk and even AJ Styles to name a few. Cena can now fight those guys again, being the heel this time around. It would be such a fun ride to enjoy, being able to see him heel again for the first time in around 20 years.
Cena winning the title would also give an excuse to let Cody Rhodes be written off TV for a while, giving him a much-needed break. Cody Rhodes has held the Undisputed title for 332 days and counting. He has had one hell of a reign, but the moment is perfect for Cena. WrestleMania would be the right time for Rhodes to finally lose, given the fact he’s going up against the greatest of all time, John Cena. Since this is Cena’s last run for good, WWE should really pull out all the stops to make it a memorable one.
John Cena is on his final run in the WWE, and he needs to go out with a bang! Him winning at the grandest stage of them all would only make the most sense. WWE needs to have him win, go on a nice few months’ reign as a heel champ and have him boast about his record-breaking 17th world title. This should all start with him winning at the show of shows. It would be a really great run, and it will be only the second time we would be seeing John Cena heel. We shall see how WWE plays their cards and see if they let him win it at Mania, or at a different PLE.
