Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is one of the biggest names in entertainment, but his recent actions put the business in danger. On social media and in an interview, he expressed frustration with fans, burying kayfabe. This has caused a stir online, as one would think such a legend would think before he speaks.
The Rock And WrestleMania
It all began with a lacklustre WrestleMania 41. Before defeating Cody Rhodes for the title, John Cena was in a storyline with The Rock, who was in the ring during the betrayal. It felt safe to assume more was to come about their new faction at WrestleMania, but this was not the case.

The TKO board member went on The Pat McAfee Show. The Rock had heard of the WWE Universe’s discontent. Per Awful Announcing, he said how he would have done things differently.
“I love the finish of the match. I would have finessed things a little differently on how they got there, but that’s just me creatively. There are a lot of minds in the room. That’s my thought but ultimately the bottom line was, I love John getting 17,” said Johnson.
Rock Throws WWE Under The Bus – Meltzer Replies
Among other things, he went explained how he came to help with Elimination Chamber sales, and they had no set plan after the heel turn. Why would Rock throw Triple H and WWE under the bus? He thinks he is above cristiscm.
Publisher and editor of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer, took to social media with a passionate take. Per Busted Open on Instagram, The Rock joined in on credit but quickly distanced himself from criticism. The Rock replied to a social media post from Busted Open, showing Meltzer giving his take.
Johnson commented, “Hi Dave, the business is a complete work. Always has been, always will be. Every aspect of it. Every match. Every interview. Please join me, Cody, Cena, Brian and the rest of us for our creative discussions so you can expand your perspective. Until then, stop ranting, it’s not healthy my friend. Enjoy the show. Ps, tell Bubba I have Grand Marnier and hush puppies for all of us.”

End Of My Rant On The Rock
This year’s WrestleMania was subpar, but mistakes happen, and every year isn’t going to surpass the last. Johnson has no accountability and threw the business under the bus. Sometimes one’s ego surpasses reality, causing one to lose touch with it in time.
