These WWE Raw results wrapped up Monday night at the FedEx Forum in Memphis. The Elimination Chamber qualifier series continued, and championship matches for that event are evolving.

The Vision

The show started with Paul Heyman and The Vision interrupting the Uso’s introduction. Austin Theory is upset about the masked assailant costing him a match last week. LA Knight appeared, and it quickly became a six-man tag match. It was pretty typical stuff until Bronson Reed speared Knight through the barricade, like a WWE 2K OMG moment. This proved to be the difference.

The three-on-two advantage led to a Tsunami and Pin from Reed. Logan Paul grabbed a headset to shoot off, but was curb stomped by the ongoing mystery of the masked man in black.

Chamber Qualifier – Asuka Vs. Bayley Vs. Nattie

Next up was a triple-threat Elimination Chamber qualifier featuring Asuka, Bayley, and Nattie. This was more physical than expected, leading to some smooth reversals and much-needed intensity.

Everything about Nattie’s new aggressive MMA gimmick is working, except the over-the-top, cartoon-like facial expressions. Asuka won via submission on Bayley.

Maxxine Durpri had a surprise appearance post-match. She rushed Nattie, continuing their ongoing rivalry storyline.

CM Punk Vs. Finn Balor

WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk was interrupted by Finn Balor while cutting an in-ring promo. Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh quickly joined Balor, raising questions about whether Judgement Day is on good terms again.

Punk made that the topic of discussion, claiming Judgment Day is Balor’s downfall. If not that, perhaps he can no longer make it on his own. The segment lacked substance and ended there.

Men’s & Women’s Intercontinental Championships

El Grande Americano faced off with Penta to determine the number one contender for the WWE Intercontinental Championship. The match wasn’t the best from either man, who are generally explosive each evening. The Original El Grande Americano caused the distraction leading to the pinfall of his doppelganger.

AJ Lee had an in-ring promo for her upcoming match against Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s International Championship. After an empty promo that rambled for far too long, Lynch was finally called to the ring. This was another anticlimactic segment.

Chamber Qualifier – Evans Vs. Mysterio Vs. Gunther

The main event of these WWE Raw results had a men’s spot in the Elimination Chamber on the line. It featured Je’Von Evans, Mysterio, and Gunther.

Gunther’s physicality was on display, laying hurt on both opponents. Evans had a couple of entertaining high-spots, but otherwise he was largely in control. It took Dragon Lee taking him out with the ring bell to open up an opportunity for the other two.

Mysterio had the finish lined up, but Evans reversed it into a pinfall victory. The Young OG advances to Elimination Chamber.

End Of My Raw Results Rant

There is but one episode of Raw remaining before the Elimination Chamber PLE. Let’s hope it has more intensity and physicality than this one. Outside of the main event, it was relatively soft and uneventful. The always dangerous and exciting chamber is sure to paint clear pictures of championship matches at WrestleMania.
