These Three Drivers Are The Favorites To Win The Toyota Owners 400

NASCAR makes its way to the Richmond Raceway this weekend for the seventh race of the 2024 season.

Kyle Larson won this race last year, followed by Josh Berry, Ross Chastain, Christopher Bell, and Kevin Harvick. Bell and Ty Gibbs were the only Toyota cars to finish inside the top ten in 2023.

So, who will win the Toyota Owners 400 this year? Here are the three betting favorites to finish first when the checkered flag flies.

3) Martin Truex Jr.

Truex is the top-ranked driver through the season's first six weeks with 220 points. While he has yet to find victory lane this year, the 19-car driver has four top-ten finishes and one top-five. A couple of weeks ago in Bristol, he was in a tight race with Denny Hamlin, a battle that Hamlin won.

Truex won the Richmond race in 2019. With +600 odds, he has the third-best chance of winning it all again this weekend.

2) Denny Hamlin

Denny Hamlin has had success at the Richmond Raceway in the past, winning the 400-lap race in 2022. Last year, however, was a bit more difficult for the veteran driver, who finished 20th.

It's been a good start to the 2024 NASCAR season for Denny Hamlin. He has the fourth-highest point total, with 206, and won the Busch Light Clash in February. A couple of weeks back, he found victory lane in Bristol.

The 11 car has +450 odds of winning its third race of the calendar year, which could help Hamlin and his team in their quest for their first Cup Series Championship.

1) Christopher Bell

The three drivers with the best odds all drive Toyota race cars, fitting for the Toyota Owners 400. The 2017 Truck Series Champion is the odds-on favorite to win the race this weekend at +425.

Bell has four top-ten finishes in 2024 and has found himself inside the top-five on three occasions. His lone win of the season came in Phoenix. The 29-year-old finished second last weekend at the Circuit of the Americas, earning his seventh playoff point in the process.

This Sunday will mark Bell's 150th career Cup Series race. He'll be looking to celebrate that achievement with his eighth Cup Series win.
