Pre-Training Camp Final 53 Roster Predictions
Football is almost back! We are mere days away from the 2022 Cleveland Browns training camp in Berea, Ohio. It is a perfect time to make pre-training camp final 53 roster predictions. Rookies report on July 22nd, and the entire roster will report by July 26th.
Browns Training Camp
Training camp is always exciting as undrafted players fight to be one of the final 53 on the roster or at least get a call up to the practice squad. Other important dates to note for roster construction are the roster cutdown deadlines. August 16th rosters go from 90 to 85, August 23rd from 85 to 80, and August 30th from 80 to the final 53. Without further delay, here is how that final 53 will break down.

Let us know what you think of our pre-training camp final 53 roster predictions. Some things that stand out as I did the research for this article. I don’t believe D’Ernest Johnson will be on this team come Week One. He is immensely talented, but we just drafted Jerome Ford. Stefanski likes to go into the season with three running backs and a full back. Johnson can easily garner a late Day Two pick in next year’s draft if a team loses a starter due to injury before the opening week.
The battle for the team’s third tight-end will be something to watch out for in training camp and pre-season. The departure of Austin Hooper leaves a void in the tight-end room. None of our third options have enough draft capital or money attached to them to make one stand out above the rest. It will indeed be the best man who gets the job.
