Fly Eagles Nation NFC East Power Rankings – Week 4
This will be a weekly series to discuss the NFC East Power rankings. There will risers, fallers, and since who remain the same in their quest for NFC East supremacy.
Let’s Fly Eagles Nation!
With Week Three of the NFL season behind us, let’s see how the NFC East lines up going into Week Four.
#1 – Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles are the clear favorite in the NFC East after three weeks. Though they have not scored a point in the second half of any game this season, they have downright dominated their competition. That will need to be corrected moving forward, but for now, it has not been an issue for Philly. Jalen Hurts and the offense are starting to get hot and if the defense can continue its own streak of dominance then this team will be scary – and not just for the NFC East.

#2 – Dallas Cowboys
Dallas took down the New York Giants on Monday Night Football in their continued quest to stay afloat without Dak Prescott. Cooper Rush has done enough to lead the Cowboys to a 2-0 record as he fills in for the injured QB. CeeDee Lamb and rest of the offense will need to become more efficient if this team is to make any noise in the near future though. The defense continues to be the strongest unit on the team, which could bode well for them moving forward.

#3 – New York Giants
The Giants took their first loss of the season to the Dallas Cowboys and the game was close for much the time. Saquan being healthy will be the biggest key for a New York team that lacks any real playmakers. If the offensive line and Daniel Jones can limit mistakes then the Giants could try and push for the NFC East – though I don’t see that as a likely result.
#4 – Washington Commanders
I said it last week and I’ll say it again, until Washington finds a solution at the quarterback position they cannot compete with the three teams above. Wentz is too inconsistent for the team to be able to count on and that changes what the team can expect from a week-to-week basis. Outside of that, Washington continues to allow big plays on a consistent basis and with those two scenarios going on together, that spells a rough year for the Washington Commanders.
After three weeks of the season down, the NFC East looks to have a clear favorite in your Philadelphia Eagles. Let’s see if that can continue into Week Four.
