Fantasy Football – Fly Eagles Nation Edition #4

In this series, we will outline fantasy football advice as it relates to our beloved Eagles. Every week we will go through each player at the following positions: QB, RB, WR, and TE – with each player at those positions being tagged with a start/sit/FLEX designation.

Let’s fly, Eagles Nation!

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts START:

Hurts is a must start against the overachieving Jaguars. Unless you own Josh Allen or Lamar Jackson, Jalen Hurts should not leave your lineups. With over 900 passing yards, 150 rushing yards, and being the only player to ever reach those numbers in three weeks, you can see why he’s a must start.

Gardner Minshew SIT:

A bench stash, at best.

Running Back

Miles Sanders SIT:

Boobie had a decent outing last week with 15 carries for 46 yards. With the strength of Jacksonville’s defense being the front 7, I think the Eagles attack more through the air, which should favor Kenneth Gainwell a little more.

Kenneth Gainwell FLEX:

As I said above, I believe the offensive game-script will favor Kenny G today. Gainwell provides a little more flexibility to the offense due to his wide receiver skills at the running back position. Place him in your flex and I believe he rewards those of us that do.

Boston Scott SIT:

Continue to stash Boston on you’re benches unless you need the spot to cover injuries. If an injury occurs ahead of him, Scott has shown he can be a fantasy asset.

Wide Receiver

AJ Brown START:

Swole Batman – Brown has brought in an attitude and an ability that is unmatched by any player not named Jalen Hurts. In three games this season, Brown has amassed 309 yards on 20 catches and one touchdown. Start him with confidence against Jacksonville this week.

DeVonta Smith START:

It looks like Week One is an aberration considering the production DeVonta Smith has put up the last two weeks – 15 catches for 249 yards. Smitty may have more upside than Brown in fantasy football as we continue to move ahead this season.

Quez Watkins SIT:

Quez is a sit – he has ability in this offense, but we need to see consistency out of Watkins before starting him.

Zach Pascal SIT:

Pascal will be on the field, but he won’t see many targets, not enough to make a difference.

Tight End

Dallas Goedert START:

Another week, another must start. What Goedert provides is, maybe, the safest floor in fantasy at the position. He hasn’t exploded yet, but I believe that changes this week.

3-0 on the season, can they make it 4? Stay tuned & comment down below and let us know how you think the NFC East will play out this year and please check us out on Facebook, Twitter and on FlyEaglesNation.com! Stay tuned for more great Eagles content. Fly Eagles Fly!
