These stats just go to show the importance of Fernandes to this side, he is what makes them tick. If someone was unlucky enough to watch the match they missed due to suspension, they would understand.

The winner of Rangers vs Athletic Club awaits if United are able to get through Lyon. On the other side of the bracket, it looks like it will be either Tottenham or Lazio getting through to the final.

Making the Champions League is huge for a club like Manchester United for financial reasons. It also makes the idea of coming to the club as a transfer more attractive if players know there will be Champions League football.
