LeBron James is not interested in money this time around. When choosing his next NBA team, he will be looking for the best fit. Which team gives him the best opportunity to contend for a championship in what could be his final NBA season? After the recent Jaylen Brown trade, the Philadelphia 76ers may have shot to the top of the list.
How The Jaylen Brown Trade Changed The Odds

Brown was acquired in a blockbuster deal that sent Paul George, two first-round picks, and two second-round picks to the Boston Celtics. The trade came out of nowhere, with absolutely no speculation that this might get done.
Brown being acquired is already a fantastic move by Mike Gansey, but the fact that it didn’t cost VJ Edgecombe or Tyrese Maxey makes it so much better. Philadelphia now has a big-four on the roster, for the now and the future.
LeBron would be much more willing to entertain a move to Philadelphia now after this move. He wouldn’t need to be a main contributor when Embiid is out; he can still be the third or fourth option even in that situation.
LeBron’s Fit With The Philadelphia 76ers

LeBron doesn’t want to be tasked with carrying a roster and having a full workload anymore. If he signed with the 76ers, he would be the fourth option in the starting lineup. So far in his career, there hasn’t been a time when he wouldn’t be considered anything less than the second option.
LeBron still averaged over 20 points a game on great efficiency. He is the best free agent remaining, and it wouldn’t be a question of whether or not the Sixers would want him. Instead, they need him. Power forward is by far the weakest spot in the starting lineup. Moving newly signed Dean Wade to the bench and putting James into the starting five would give them the best lineup in the league.
End Of My LeBron James Philadelphia 76ers Rant

LeBron heading to Philadelphia hasn’t had this much steam since all the rumors circulating in 2018. There’s no Ben Simmons this time around, but there are a bunch of players capable of recruiting the greatest to ever play the game to Philly. Who wouldn’t want to play with Maxey, Edgecombe, Brown, and Embiid? This may be his best chance to get ring number five. Now the last question is, would Bronny James join him?
