The 2026 NBA offseason has been filled with blockbuster player movement. Stars such as LaMelo Ball, Julius Randle, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jaylen Brown, and Paul George have all changed teams through trades. LeBron has chosen a different ending.
His departure officially hands the Los Angeles Lakers over to Luka Dončić and Austin Reaves while simultaneously transforming the Sixers into one of the NBA’s premier championship contenders.
Philadelphia now has arguably its strongest roster in years and immediately becomes one of the biggest threats to the defending champion New York Knicks in the Eastern Conference.
Talent has never been Philadelphia’s biggest question.
Health remains the deciding factor.
