This Buffalo Bills complete 7-round mock draft considered trades, but nothing worthwhile came to fruition. Thanks to Pro Football Network for player stats, projections, and the draft simulation tool.
Round One – Pick 26: EDGE, Akheem Mesidor, Miami (FL)
The Bills are searching for a consistent, elite, pass-rusher to pair with the aggressive scheme of new defensive coordinator, Jim Leonhard. EDGE Akheem Mesidor is a beast of a man, excelling in most traits, including elite hand usage and play strength. The team had a respectable defense last year, but if Mesidor can stay healthy, he’ll make an immediate impact.

Round Three – Pick 91: WR Ja’Kobi Lane, USC
Buffalo is littered with WR2s, as the team continues to find the right combination of talent and fit. Management should jump on this opportunity if wide receiver Ja’Kobi Lane falls to 91. His elite size and explosiveness put him near the top of this year’s WR crop. His 40″ vertical and 10’9″ broad jump place him elite in his class.
Round Four – Pick 126: S Zakee Wheatley, Penn State
The team could go linebacker or safety on this pick of the Bills complete 7-round mock draft, but the drop in projections from S Zakee Wheatley to the remaining field, compared to the LB field, is much steeper. Zakee has a well-rounded skill set, serviceable in most situations. His blue-chip explosiveness tends to make up for subpar ball skills.
Rounds Five – Pick 165: LB Kendal Daniels, Oklahoma
Tackling and pass rushing have been a weakness for linebacker Kendal Daniels, but his size and strength are undeniable in this Bills’ complete 7-round mock draft. At 6’5″, 242 pounds, he’s a great late-draft selection, especially if Buffalo can refine his bruting abilities.

Round Six – Pick 182: OG Jeremiah Wright, Auburn
At 6’5″, 331 pounds, offensive guard Jeremiah Wright is a brick wall. On one hand, his base cannot be moved; on the other hand, brick walls don’t move too well. Proven the ability to play on offense or defense, this former three-star prospect is a versatile option for this Bills complete 7-round mock draft.
Round Seven – Pick 220: WR Eric McAlister, TCU
WR Eric McAlister has fallen down the board, largely due to off-field legal issues stemming from an assault with a deadly weapon charge in 2024. The thing is, knows talent trumps morality in the NFL, and McAlister has some worth taking a stab at this late in the draft. He averaged 16.5 yards per reception in his final year with Texas Christian University, which converted into ten touchdowns. Measuring in at 6’4″, he ranked in the 96th percentile at the position.
