WWE star Liv Morgan meets Chelsea Green for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship on Nov. seventh in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Morgan holds Raw’s Women’s World Championship, while Green carries SmackDown’s WWE Women’s title into the Champion vs. Champion Match. First, Nikki Bella challenges Green for the belt on the Oct. 30 SmackDown. Here are four reasons the women’s bout could steal the show.
Liv Morgan Has Spent 2026 Collecting Gold And Taking It Back

The Women’s Royal Rumble on Jan. 31 took place in Riyadh, the same city hosting Crown Jewel. Entering at No. 14, Morgan eliminated Tiffany Stratton last to win the Royal Rumble. WrestleMania 42 followed on April 18, where Morgan beat Stephanie Vaquer for a third Women’s World Championship.
Morgan retained against Iyo Sky at SummerSlam Night One on Aug. first in Minneapolis. Vaquer regained the belt on Sept. 12 at a non-televised live event in Santiago, Chile, with Becky Lynch serving as special guest referee. The loss ended Morgan’s reign at 147 days.
Another shot came at Money in the Bank on Oct. tenth in New Orleans, where Vaquer defended against Morgan and Lynch in a triple threat. Vaquer sent Lynch through a table before eating Oblivion for the pin. The win gave Morgan a fourth reign with the title.
Chelsea Green Fought Through A Broken Orbital Bone To Keep Her Title

Green won the then-interim WWE Women’s Championship on Aug. second at SummerSlam Night Two in Minneapolis. Rhea Ripley, the lineal titleholder, retained against Jade Cargill at Clash in Italy on May 31. WWE later said Ripley suffered a knee injury in Italy, which led to the interim title. Green outlasted Stratton, Cargill, Charlotte Flair, and Lash Legend in a five-way ladder match.
Days into the reign, Green broke an orbital bone during a SmackDown match. On the Aug. 14 SmackDown, general manager Nick Aldis threatened to strip the champion before granting 30 days to get medically cleared and defend the title. Medical clearance came on Sept. fourth, on the condition that Green wrestle in a face mask.
The first defense came against Nia Jax on the Sept. 11 SmackDown in Mexico City. Stratton took a punch from Legend meant for Green, and Green’s Unprettier on Jax ended the match. WWE’s title history lists the reign as starting Aug. 2, the same day it ends Ripley’s run.
Liv Morgan Already Owns A Piece Of Women’s Crown Jewel History

Morgan won the inaugural Women’s Crown Jewel Championship on Nov. second, 2024, at Mohammed Abdo Arena in Riyadh. Jax climbed for the Annihilator before Dominik Mysterio distracted the referee and Raquel Rodriguez kicked the then-WWE Women’s Champion off the ropes. Morgan scored the pin moments later, and Triple H handed over the prize after the match.
Vaquer won the title at Crown Jewel on Oct. 11, 2025, in Perth, Australia, beating Stratton in another Champion vs. Champion Match. Stratton missed a moonsault, and Vaquer hit a corkscrew splash for the pin. Vaquer and Morgan are the only women to hold the Crown Jewel prize, so a victory in Riyadh would make the 2024 winner the first woman to claim it twice.
The Judgment Day Factor Hangs Over A Rivalry Dating Back To 2020

Green’s SmackDown debut on Nov. 13, 2020, came in a fatal four-way Survivor Series qualifier against Morgan, Natalya, and Tamina. Morgan pinned Tamina for the win, and Green suffered a broken wrist during the bout. On July 17, 2023, Raw, Green and Sonya Deville took the Women’s Tag Team Championship from Morgan and Rodriguez. Ripley attacked the defending champions before the bell, targeting Rodriguez’s leg.
Green crossed over to Raw on Oct. 12 in Bossier City, Louisiana, interrupting a Judgment Day promo to confront Morgan. Roxanne Perez issued a singles match challenge and won it with Pop Rox. Morgan, Rodriguez, Mysterio, and JD McDonagh distracted Green from ringside, and the faction attacked the WWE Women’s Champion after the bell.
Perez and Rodriguez interfered in Morgan’s WrestleMania 42 win over Vaquer, and both women walked out with the Raw titleholder at SummerSlam. The Judgment Day stayed out of the Money in the Bank finish. WWE has not announced any stipulation keeping the faction away from ringside in Riyadh.
End Of My Liv Morgan Rant

Morgan has turned 2026 into one long highlight reel. The résumé reads like a full season of TV: a Rumble win, a WrestleMania title, a lost reign in Chile, and a quick return to the top in New Orleans. Crown Jewel offers Morgan the chance to become the first woman to win the diamond-covered title twice. Nobody in the women’s division has more momentum.
Green is the better story, though. A broken orbital bone, a 30-day deadline, and a face mask did not stop the WWE Women’s Champion from keeping the belt. Green has gone from comedy act to the top of SmackDown the hard way. Bella stands in the way first, and nothing is guaranteed on Oct. 30.
The Judgment Day will hover over every minute of this match. A Green win in Riyadh would be the upset of the night. A Morgan win would hand the faction another trophy for the shelf. No match on the card has a better chance to outshine Roman Reigns vs. Sami Zayn.
