Penta won the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match on Oct. tenth in New Orleans, earning a WWE World Title opportunity. Crown Jewel follows on Nov. seventh in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, where Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn meet in a Champion vs. Champion match. Reigns holds the World Heavyweight Title, and Zayn carries the Undisputed WWE Title. The winner takes the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The briefcase gives Penta an opening, and three scenarios follow.
Penta Cashes In On Whoever Wins The Crown Jewel Championship

Penta took the briefcase after hitting Bron Breakker with a Mexican Destroyer from one ladder onto another. CM Punk, Kevin Owens, Je’Von Evans, and Trick Williams were also in the match. Per WWE.com, the winner earns a world title match at any time within the next year. WWE has not announced either world title as on the line at Crown Jewel.
Under the announced terms, Reigns and Zayn will both still be world champions after the match in Riyadh. Edge cashed in at New Year’s Revolution in January 2006. John Cena had retained the WWE Title inside the Elimination Chamber moments earlier.
Seth Rollins cashed in at SummerSlam on Aug. second, 2025, right after Punk beat Gunther for the World Heavyweight Title. Penta was one of six men in that year’s ladder match on June seventh in Inglewood, California. A Champion vs. Champion match would leave the Crown Jewel winner in the same spot Punk was in at MetLife Stadium.
Penta Follows Sami Zayn’s Advice And Goes After Roman Reigns

Reigns has held the World Heavyweight Title since beating Punk at WrestleMania 42 on April 19 in Las Vegas. Penta earned a shot at that belt on the Aug. 31 Raw, defeating Rey Fenix in a brother-versus-brother tournament final. The Tribal Chief retained on the Sept. 14 Raw in Mexico City, catching a springboard attempt with a Superman Punch before hitting a Spear. He had worked over Reigns’ right arm with the Sacrifice earlier in the bout.
Zayn congratulated Penta on winning the ladder match during the Oct. 16 SmackDown and pushed for a cash-in on Reigns. Later that night, Fenix fielded a backstage question from Zayn about whether the brothers had spoken since Money in the Bank. Fenix replied that the WWE Champion’s intent was clear, adding that even Penta’s own brother did not know whether the cash-in would target Reigns or Zayn.
Penta walked out after the face-to-face between the champions on the Oct. 19 Raw in San Diego. The briefcase went up toward Reigns at ringside. A Crown Jewel cash-in would set up a rematch of the Sept. 14 bout at a premium live event.
Penta Keeps The Briefcase Closed And Handles Raw Business First

Penta addressed the timing of a cash-in on the WWE Now Money in the Bank recap, which WWE posted on Oct. tenth. The luchador said:
“But not yet. Not too soon.” He added, “Now I decide when. I decide where, and I decide against who.”
Rollins won the 2014 contract on June 29 in Boston and held it for nine months. At WrestleMania 31 on March 29, 2015, the cash-in came during the Brock Lesnar vs. Reigns main event. Rollins pinned Reigns to leave Levi’s Stadium with the WWE World Heavyweight Title.
Penta faced Breakker on the Oct. 19 Raw, seven days after Evans took a spear from the same opponent in Bossier City, Louisiana. Austin Theory grabbed the briefcase from the timekeeper’s area while Maxxine Dupri distracted the referee. Evans took the case away and hit Breakker with it behind the official’s back. The Mexican Destroyer that followed gave him the pin.
End Of My Penta Rant

Penta holds the most dangerous piece of luggage in WWE. Reigns and Zayn can argue all they want about which title matters more. The briefcase does not care about the Crown Jewel belt. Both men leave Riyadh as world champions, but only one of them beat Penta in Mexico City.
Patience is the play. Penta went from a Raw debut win over Chad Gable on Jan. 13, 2025, to a world title match in under two years. A rushed cash-in throws away everything that climb built. Rollins sat on the contract for nine months and robbed Reigns at WrestleMania. The man said it himself: not too soon.
Breakker and Theory need handling first. Once Raw is cleaned up, Reigns is the only target that settles anything. Penta came up short in September. A cash-in on Reigns finishes that story the right way.
