The latest WWE Raw results are from the Money in the Bank go-home show. WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns and LA Knight traded personal digs ahead of their title match, and the show placed ladder match contestants against each other all night. WWE Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer also crashed the main event number-one contender’s match, demanding a triple threat at the Premium Live Event.
Knight opened WWE Raw by coming to the ring to cut a promo. With Money in the Bank only days away, he looked ahead at his title shot against Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. He told the champ to start his intro for Saturday now, taking a comical jab at his long intros.
Reigns heard many verbal jousts, but his music hit when Knight called him trash. Mixed with numerous expletives, he called his opponent “just another egg in the omelet.” The challenger called him nothing more than a manufactured corporate plant, just like his fake teeth, and “that’s just a fact of life.”
Evans and Penta had a non-title match against WWE World Tag Team Champions, The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, with Maxxine Dupri and Logan Paul). As with every finish involving the tag champs, outside interference was a factor. Dupri distracted the referee as Paul threw brass knuckles into the ring, but this time, it didn’t go as planned. The Young OG was quicker to the punch, figuratively and literally, snagging the foreign object and knocking out Theory to pick up the pinfall victory.
Evans had time for just a cheeky wink to the camera before Bronson Reed, not originally accompanying The Vision, blindsided the victor. Penta tried to aid The Young OG, but ate a Tsunami for his troubles. Reed’s Money in the Bank opponent, “The Ruler” Oba Femi, then rushed the ring. Everyone powdered after a brief brawl, teasing Saturday’s match.
Vice and Ruca teamed to challenge Judgment Day (WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez). The match moved quickly and featured strong reversal segments, but it lacked strength and intensity. Perez picked up the pinfall victory when Vice accidentally knocked out her partner.
Page had a non-title shot against AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Fenix, and they put on a classic mid-card banger. Great action, a quick pace, smart reversals, and physicality beefed up the match and the card. The champ won the match by reversing into a simple roll-up pin.
AAA general manager and WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio teamed with Lee for a tag match against Judgment Day (“Dirty” Dominik Mysterio and J.D. McDonagh). After losing to Dragon last week, Cass attacked him while the referee was distracted. The commotion led to a headbutt finisher from McDonagh after his blind tag. Cass wasn’t done, inflicting further damage to Mysterio and his tag partner, who each ate a big boot.
The main event of these WWE Raw results was “The Man” Becky Lynch vs. Liv Morgan to determine the number-one contender for the WWE Women’s World Championship. The winner moves on to Money in the Bank to challenge Vaquer. They moved quickly and executed smooth reversals, but the match felt soft and quiet. Even Morgan’s top-rope double-leg drop-kick barely made a sound.
Judgment Day (Rodriguez and Perez) showed up to help faction-mate Morgan, tugging on Lynch’s feet at one point to stop a would-be finish. Moments later, they placed her foot on the rope to break up a three-count, saving their friend once again. The Man fought valiantly, but three-on-one was too much. Luckily for her, Vaquer showed up to demand a fair match.
The match continued, but both Morgan and Lynch accidentally struck Vaquer when aiming at their opponent. The champion didn’t take it lightly, attacking both of them and causing the match to be thrown out. She grabbed the mic and demanded a triple threat at Money in the Bank.
These WWE Raw results were packed full of action to set up Money in the Bank this Saturday. Knight took his shots at Reigns, Cass got his revenge, and Vaquer crashed the main event, making her upcoming title defense a triple threat.
