The Kentucky Wildcats women’s basketball team is on fire, kicking off their SEC season with a perfect 4-0 record after taking down Auburn 80-61. This impressive start marks the first time since 2013 that the team has achieved this feat. The Cats are one of only three teams that are still undefeated in conference play.

The End Of My Kentucky Rant
Kentucky is likely to move up in the AP poll after their impressive win over Auburn, which kept them one of three remaining undefeated teams in the SEC. Leaving them at the top of the SEC standings with powerhouse teams South Carolina and LSU. They are currently ranked No. 15, but with this momentum, they are likely to make a jump inside the top 12 this week. The Wildcats are 17th in the NET rankings after their latest win.

The Wildcats have the mid-week off this week and Coach Brooks is looking forward to a little more practice time. Kentucky will battle the Georgia Lady Bulldogs next Sunday, January 19th in Athens, Georgia.
