This is the home stretch of the road to WrestleMania, and there is no doubt that it will be a massive success. That being said, nobody is perfect. WWE has made some booking blunders leading up to the two-night event.

1). CM Punk Booked In WrestleMania Main Event

In a bubble, the triple threat featuring CM Punk, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins has been a fantastic storyline, and will be an entertaining match. The mistake falls on the booker, elevating this to the main event of night one. There is no championship or opportunity on the line, and it was given to Punk as a pity booking. It will be a travesty if WWE doesn’t put Rollins over in this spot.

2). Jey Uso Winning At WrestleMania

Jey Uso is not the talent to represent your company as the best wrestler on the biggest stage, defeating a dominant champion like Gunther. Outside of hyping up the crowd, Uso has contributed very little to the build-up to elevate the match. His lack of technical skill and toughness in the ring is not that of a workhorse champion. Outside of whining about being called the underdog, it took Gunther leaving his brother in a bloody mess to elevate this build.

3). Rhea Ripley’s WrestleMania Booking

Rhea Ripley has an opportunity at the women's title at WrestleMania

Rhea Ripley has no business in the triple threat against Iyo Sky and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women’s World Championship. It diminishes the opportunity Bianca Belair earned via winning the Elimination Chamber, and Ripley has changed nothing but her gear in years. Her approach to wrestling over the past few years is the type of thing women used to fight against, putting her talent growth on a plateau of complacency.

4). Logan Paul At WrestleMania

Logan Paul is not a wrestler, and never mind WrestleMania, he does not even belong in the ring with AJ Styles. WWE protects him, giving him weeks to train for a high spot and never actually working on wrestling. There are people on that roster who give their heart and soul to the mat, and Paul is taking their opportunity because of his celebrity.

End Of My WrestleMania Rant

The card is subject to change as April 19, 2025, approaches. WrestleMania 41 is going to be amazing, but these are some of the booking blunders so far. Most of it revolves around lesser talents forced into matches they don’t belong in.
