- “The Viper” Randy Orton and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes agreed to a last-man-standing match at Crown Jewel

- WWE United States Champion Trick Williams, Mr. Money in the Bank Penta, and AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix defeated “Absolute” Ricky Saints, Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn, and Johnny Gargano
Sami Zayn’s Promo Interrupted & Tag Match Announced
Zayn, Gargano, and Candice LeRae were quickly interrupted by Fenix, who started talking about his brother, Mr. Money in the Bank Penta, but he, too, was cut off. Williams came to the ring and argued that he had the champ’s number, demanding a title shot. General manager Nick Aldis heard enough and called for a tag match later in the evening.
Chelsea Green Retains WWE Women’s Championship Against Roxanne Perez
Perez had her shot at Green for the WWE Women’s Championship. The match offered little in-ring excitement or sustained momentum. Things truly only got interesting when WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez showed up to help fellow Judgment Day member, The Prodigy.
Rodriguez pushed Green off the top rope, seemingly setting Perez up for the win. IYO SKY didn’t like the smell of that, and showed up to even the odds. The sequence created a convincing near-fall and briefly suggested a title change was possible, but it wasn’t her night. The champion retained with SKY’s assistance.

Liv Morgan joined fellow Judgment Day members to start a three-on-two beatdown after the match. Ms. Money in the Bank Tiffany Stratton evened the odds with a cringeworthy, obviously fake cash-in. Stratton and the referee held the briefcase while looking at each other for an extended period of time, but it was never officially cashed in. Morgan was pulled out of the ring by her allies as the segment ended.
Blake Monroe Defeated Giulia In A Street Fight
After weeks of run-ins and ruined matches, it was finally time for Giulia and Monroe to settle things in a street fight. They fought to the back, shattered a fake mirror into an unrealistic number of pieces, then returned to the ring. The Beautiful Madness carried this match, while her opponent’s presentation felt more suited to an adult-film aesthetic than the intensity expected in a street fight. WWE still booked her to win, sending the wrong message to young women and aspiring talent.
Randy Orton Vs. Cody Rhodes Last-Man-Standing Match Set For Crown Jewel
Orton started his promo by acknowledging that Rhodes punted Baron Corbin, but will never have the guts to pull the trigger on him. The American Nightmare, however, would pull the trigger on his entrance music. He joined The Viper in the ring, as WWE officials watched from ringside in a panic.

Rhodes tried baiting Orton into a fight, but he wasn’t biting. Aldis grabbed the microphone and suggested a match at Crown Jewel, but that wasn’t enough for this lengthy storyline. The American Nightmare called for a last-man-standing match, which was immediately accepted.
B-Fab & Michin Win WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Bliss and Paxley defended their recently acquired WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against B-Fab and Michin (accompanied by Jade Cargill). The match was very short and involved a dirty finish. With the referee distracted, Cargill knocked Tatum out, making them the new tag team champions.
MFT Vs. Bakusai Never Gets Started
MFT had a non-title match scheduled against Bakusai. Their opponents, however, decided to have a little fun. After Kyoki stole Haku’s walking stick, chaos ensued, and no official match began. The segment just faded from the brawl on the entrance ramp to the announce desk.
Trick Williams, Penta & Rey Fenix Win Six-Man Tag Team Match
It was time for the tag match announced in the opening segment: Zayn and Gargano vs. Williams and Fenix. This scheduled match ended in a disqualification, thanks to Saints.

Saints rushed Fenix, whom he’s been beefing with, as the match began. Penta rushed to help his brother, and a six-man tag was born. The match featured a fast pace and impressive reversals, offering a refreshing contrast to the earlier contests. The match ended when Williams hit Ricky with a Book End, earning his team the pinfall victory.
