July 6, 2026 WWE Raw results from the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois.
WWE Raw opened with the new Undisputed WWE Champion Sami Zayn and “The American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes verbally jousting ahead of their title match later in the evening. Gunther blindsided Rhodes, ending with a vicious powerbomb and a car door to the skull.
Seth Rollins cut an in-ring promo ahead of his title shot against WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns. Among other things, Rollins said that Reigns can’t wrestle and only does it for the money. Things took a strange turn from there.
Rollins is trying to convince the WWE Universe that Reigns was always the chosen one in The Shield, when it was actually he who used the steel chair on their backs. Rollins is trying to go full babyface, explaining how his opponent doesn’t wrestle with heart, but for money. The drawn-out promo was eventually interrupted by LA Knight.
Knight explained how boring more of Rollins and Reigns in the title picture is. Furthermore, he didn’t earn his upcoming title shot, and it’s simply a nostalgia play.
This may have been Knight’s best promo, explaining how the two of them are just burying others. In the end, Rollins agreed to give him the first title shot if he beats Reigns at SummerSlam.
The segment wasn’t done there. As Rollins left the frame, Jimmy Uso was in the ring to superkick the unsuspecting Knight.
WWE World Tag Team Champions Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford) defended the titles against The Vision (Bron Breakker and Austin Theory). On their way to the ring, Paul Heyman told Breakker and Theory to bring back the titles or not come back at all.
The match itself was a stereotypical sports entertainment style, with few holds and dropkicks aplenty. The finish was random, with a heel turn coming from Maxxine Dupri. She hit Dawkins with a low blow, aiding The Vision in becoming the new WWE World Tag Team Champions.
Sol Ruca defended the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Raquel Rodriguez. This was a soft and choppy watch. There was a tense false finish when Liv Morgan came to aid Rodriguez, but Ruca kicked out. Iyo Sky ran to even the odds, allowing the champion to retain in these WWE Raw results.
Just as it seemed Heyman was done cutting a promo for Brock Lesnar’s upcoming Hell in a Cell match against Oba Femi, the music hit. Femi strutted to the ring to face him.
Femi was unfazed by Heyman’s promo, explaining how he’s under Lesnar’s skin, and all the talk is simply fear.
Chad Gable and Dragon Lee teamed to take on “All Ego” Ethan Page and Rusev. Gable and Lee tried to battle back, but the size and power of their opponents were ultimately the difference.
Rusev forced Lee to tap to The Acolyte, while his tag partner joined in the post-win extra beatings. Joe Hendry tried to help, but was overpowered as well, leaving the heels on top in these WWE Raw results.
Zayn went to the ring for his title defense, but was surprised by the hometown CM Punk. It wasn’t the stiffest match, but elite ring IQ and reversals were displayed. They also executed numerous believable false finishes, including using the other’s finisher multiple times. One final GTS ultimately put the champion down in these WWE Raw results, making Punk the new Undisputed WWE Champion.

What could have been a career-defining, heel title run turned into a nine-day reign, with no build. With multiple talents knocking at the door, it’ll be interesting to see how it all unfolds leading into SummerSlam.
