Liv Morgan, Stephanie Vaquer, & Becky Lynch | WWE Women’s World Championship
Vaquer opened the show demanding a title shot against WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, right then and there. Morgan, accompanied by WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion Raquel Rodriguez and “The Prodigy” Roxanne Perez, answered the call from the top of the entrance ramp. Morgan first addressed comments from “The Man” Becky Lynch last week, who said that she was sending women’s wrestling back in time. The argument was that she doesn’t care, but it was comical to hear people in the crowd yell, “It’s true!” (Because it is.) Vaquer was jumped by all three and fought them off at first, but the numbers game was too much.

Lynch rushed the ring and fought off the Judgment Day; however, she ended up in a heated exchange with Vaquer. This commotion gave the other ladies enough time to recover, and Morgan finished the segment with her boot on the downed body of La Primera.
Je’Von Evans Vs. JD McDonagh
The first match of this week’s WWE Raw was “The Young OG” Je’Von Evans vs. JD McDonagh, which commentary said stemmed from an interaction during the commercial break. AAA Mega Champion “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio was at ringside for McDonagh and paid off with distractions early; however, Evans pulled off the classic babyface comeback. He picked up the pinfall victory via OG Cutter.
Cass blindsided Evans post-match before hitting his finisher to the crowd’s dismay. He was walking up the entrance ramp when The Young OG grabbed a mic to ask, “Is that all you got?”
Cass came to give him further damage when Mysterio, who was still ring-side, launched Evans into the barricade and ran off. The big man hit another finisher before walking back up the ramp.
Rey Fenix Vs. El Fiscal | World Heavyweight Championship Tournament
AAA World Cruiserweight Champion Rey Fenix and El Fiscal faced off in the first round of the World Heavyweight Championship Tournament. This battle between the luchadores featured athleticism and high spots, even if it came across as soft. As expected, Fenix picked up the pinfall victory via Mexican Muscle Buster.
Lyra Valkyria Vs. Sol Ruca
Lyra Valkyria vs. Sol Ruca was next, as Valkyria continued building on her new “going crazy” gimmick. The match surprisingly started with a lengthy, technical back-and-forth before things opened up, leading to believable near-falls both ways. In the end, Ruca picked up the win after hitting the Sol Snatcher.
Bron Breakker Vs. Oba Femi Set For WWE Sunday Night’s Main Event
One-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions, Bron Breakker, had an in-ring promo to further his ongoing rivalry with “The Ruler” Oba Femi. Breakker has been upset that Femi is considered “the future” when he clearly fits that role.

Breakker called out Femi; however, Paul Heyman came to the ring, but it wasn’t long before The Ruler joined them. The whole beef is about who the future is, and they keep referring to it like it’s the be-all and end-all. Heyman actually stopped a brawl, saying they shouldn’t work for free, and that he already scheduled their match. It will take place at the first-ever Sunday Night’s Main Event, live from State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on September 6, 2026.
Dragon Lee Vs. El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. | World Heavyweight Championship Tournament
Dragon Lee and El Hijo De Dr. Wagner Jr. had a singles match to wrap up the first round. Wagner had a great showing, showing off an entertaining, powerful version of lucha libre. Like the other first-round matches, the winner was predictable, as even the daftest of fans could see who would advance. Nonetheless, the match had elite high spots, reversals, and vicious striking, with Lee advancing via Operation Dragon.
Chad Gable Vs. Rey Mysterio | WWE Intercontinental Championship

Fresh off of winning the WWE Intercontinental Championship from Penta at SummerSlam a couple of weeks ago, Gable put it on the line against Mysterio. They squared off with high-level chain wrestling and reversals, gradually building into more powerful move-sets while creating a great in-match story. The finish was a tale of its own, with Gable reversing a 619, only for Mysterio to reverse back into it. The champion kicked out, fought back, and retained his title.
Roman Reigns Vs. Solo Sikoa: The Bloodline Explodes On WWE Raw
WWE World Heavyweight Champion “The OTC” Roman Reigns and “The Samoan Werewolf” took the ring to begin the final segment of WWE Raw. They called Solo Sikoa to the ring to collect his receipt. The Usos (Jimmy and Jey Uso) delivered, which Sikoa accepted as punishment for losing a match to Jey last week.
After some dialogue, Reigns ripped Sikoa’s sunglasses off and asked him why he wasn’t on his knees begging. Fatu then hit a swift superkick before the champ delivered Black Ula Falas to The Usos, calling them his captains. He also said he’d deal with any disrespect to them.

LA Knight’s music hit as he dashed to the ring. He quickly handled The Usos, but Fatu knocked him down, only for Reigns to stop The Samoan Werewolf so that he could hit a Superman punch on Knight.
Reigns had The Usos hold Knight up, and gave Sikoa the opportunity to serve The Bloodline. He pulled a fast one, as it appeared he was going to listen, but hit the champ with a Samoan Spike at the last second.
The ensuing brawl led to Knight reversing Reigns’ Superman Punch, and coming out on top with Sikoa to end the night. Of note, this all happened as Fatu simply played witness.
