These WWE Raw results are from the April 6, 2026, episode in Houston, Texas. With WrestleMania less than two weeks away, what could be next?
WWE Raw opened with WWE World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk storming the ring in a tiff. He called his WrestleMania opponent, Roman Reigns, a loser, only for the audience to chant “OTC.” While some of the comments were personal and aggressive, it felt like a forced “pipe bomb.” It’s difficult to convince people how unhinged you are while also mentioning multiple times how rich you are. It was a failed attempt to distract the audience from how big a hypocrite he is.
One-half of the WWE World Tag Team Champions, Austin Theory, accompanied by the other half of the champs, Logan Paul, with IShowSpeed, versus LA Knight was next. Paul threw Speed into Knight, costing him the match for two consecutive weeks. The result was a six-man tag match with The Usos at WrestleMania, which is more terrible booking by the WWE. Why not put the titles on the line?
Finn Balor was being introduced for his match against JD McDonagh when he was blindsided by his WrestleMania opponent, “Dirty” Dominik Mysterio. He and McDonagh brought the pain, and the match never got started.
Bayley, accompanied by Lyra Valkryia, had a singles match with one-half of the WWE Women’s World Tag Team Champions, Lash Legends, accompanied by the other half, Nia Jax. This was a choppy one, with numerous awkward moments and a lack of flow. Valkyria helped in the victory by holding Legends’ leg during the final pin.
After returning from injury last week, just to be choked out by Gunther, Seth Rollins went to the ring to promote their upcoming match at WrestleMania. It didn’t take long for the two stars to begin fighting, but they were stopped by WWE officials.
The next match was a six-man tag match. WWE Intercontinental Champion Penta teamed with Dragon Lee and Je’Von Evans to take on El Grande Americano and Los Americanos (Bravo and Rayo). There were exciting high spots galore, but not much else. In honesty, that was likely the plan, ahead of the ladder match for the IC title at WrestleMania. Rey Mysterio went to the ring post-match to announce his addition to that match.
Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley versus B-Fab and Michin was next. The match was lackluster and straightforward. After Sky picked up the pinfall victory, Jade Cargill stormed the ring.
The three-on-two advantage was too much. Ripley was held down and made to watch Cargill beat the life out of Sky.
General manager Adam Pearce and Paul “HHH” Levesque took the ring for a contract signing for the WrestleMania match between “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar and “The Ruler” Oba Femi. Lesnar didn’t let Femi enter the ring, and the fight was on. This was quickly ended by officials, causing the final segment to feel rushed.
