WWE had the latest installment of Saturday Night’s Main Event on July 12, 2025. On the card, Seth Rollins versus LA Knight. The Monday Night Messiah has seen a career resurgence with his new faction, which includes Paul Heyman, Bronson Reed, and Bron Breakker.

He also holds a certain briefcase that grants him a title shot, anywhere, any time, for up to a year. Things took an unfortunate turn for the worse early in the match after jumping off the ropes.

The Backbone Of WWE Gets Injured

Rollins is known for battling through injury, always leaving it all in the ring. Landing awkwardly, Mr. Money in the Bank immediately grabbed his knee and crawled to the corner. It didn’t take long to figure out it wasn’t a work, with the medical team coming to check on the injury. Fans witnessed WWE call an audible in real-time, telling Knight to hit his finisher and end the match.

There is no official update as of the following morning. Considering his recent push combined with the heart of a warrior, some fans fear the worst. There is a lot on the line, including the elevation of his faction mates, the Money in the Bank contract, and the main event picture in general.

The USA Today reports Rollins’ previous injuries, including a knee issue that took him out of action for seven months. While the Money in the Bank contract is valid for a year, this is a lengthy timeline, and it would be quite the feat to resurrect the faction and storyline after such a layoff. They can plan a historical cash-in with a surprise return, but it’s likely to kickstart a new path.

End Of My WWE Rant

The newer talent of the faction faces a steep test. After flying on the wings of The Visionary, Reed and Breakker are thrown off, forced to make it on their own. They could use the last-minute change of plans to push Knight, or have a rivalry with the remaining Paul Heyman Guys.

Everything seems to crumble without Rollins, who has enough power to lift others and hold the company on his back. He is the perfect combination of athleticism and wrestling talent, as well as charismatic on the mic.
