Mark Daigneault on Aaron Wiggins

Here’s Mark Daigneault on Aaron Wiggins’s big night:

“It turned into his night. He played with great confidence… I was really happy with his aggressiveness starting the game. He just dove right into the game.”

“He’s a fan favorite in our locker room – like other guys – he’s not the only one, but he’s all team. He’s all team on offense. He’s all team on defense. He’s all team day to day… That earns respect in the locker room.”

Aaron Wiggins On His Career Night

Here’s Aaron Wiggins reflecting on his career night postgame:

“The energy from our team from the jump, we did a really good job of coming out with force and being locked in on our game plan. The energy was just contagious.”

Takeaways β€” Short Week

The Thunder had a short week, only playing two games, going 1-1.

Win: vs Sacramento Kings (144 to 110)

Loss: @ Golden State Warriors (109 to 116)

The Thunder continued to maintain their 6.5-game lead on the Houston Rockets for the top seed in the West. The Thunder went 1-1, winning versus the Sacramento Kings in dominant fashion and losing against the Golden State Warriors.

End Of My Thunder Rant

Alex Caruso sprained his left ankle against Golden State and missed the last game, versus Sacramento. No word on how long he’s expected to be out.

Cason Wallace (shoulder strain) left the game early versus Sacramento and did not return. No word on how long he’s expected to be out.

With, 7 games left before All-Star break, the Thunder could use the time off, due to the multitude of injuries they’re dealing with.
