The New England Patriots released  four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The Kansas City Chiefs, Baltimore Ravens, and Denver Broncos could be potential landing spots for him.

The 32-year-old tallied 1,013 yards and 4 TDs in 2025. The Patriots will save $16.8M in cap room with the move and pay $9.7M in dead money.

The Complicated Case For Diggs In Kansas City

What is a possible landing spot without the Chiefs? Diggs’ name has been mentioned, just Tyreek Hill. Stefon has too many legal issues going on. Hill cannot even play until who knows when.

Stefon is better than the WR core Kansas City has right now, minus tight end Travis Kelce. He would get the opportunity to play with quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Diggs was close to signing with the Broncos last year before he signed with the Patriots. In large part it, was because of Davis Webb, who he played with in Buffalo and is now Denver’s play-caller.

Stefon is still good, but the Broncos already have good receivers. Culture fit has to be as important as talent when Denver is a few moves from a Super Bowl run.

Ravens Trade Rumors Heat Up With Stefon

The Ravens are not only listed as a trade destination for Diggs, but they also have their sights set on Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver AJ Brown. Stefon also grew up in Maryland.

They did have DeSean Jackson, Dez Bryant, Odell Beckham Jr. and DeAndre Hopkins at the wide receiver position when they were older. Stefon is still a good receiver at his age, better than them.

End Of My Stefon Diggs Rant

Diggs’ separation metrics remained elite last season, but his cap hit vs. production was becoming a schematic bottleneck for the Pats’ rebuild. This move clears the runway for a younger WR1 and signals a total shift in the Patriots’ offensive identity.

Stefon is having a rough year. First, he lost the Super Bowl against the Seattle Seahawks and was dumped by rapper Cardi B. Diggs has a court case looming next month and now got released from New England.
