Today’s PrizePicks picks and props of the day come from the NBA and MLB. Two picks from Game Two of the NBA Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and New York Knicks, and another from the full slate of Friday MLB games.
Landry Shamet has been a great surprise for the Knicks during this playoff run into the finals. He’s scored eight or more in six of his last seven games (since becoming a key rotational player). He scored 13 points in game one against the Spurs and received more than 30 minutes. As long as he gets that volume of minutes, he should be good to clear this PrizePicks line.
De’Aaron Fox has not been able to get into a rhythm since returning from his injury, but that doesn’t mean he isn’t trying. He’s attempted 13 or more shots in four of his six games since coming back. Especially if he can knock down some shots early, this is a line that is just too low.
Brandon Marsh has been the best hitter in the MLB, and it’s not just a fluke. He’s consistently been towards the top of the league in batting average. He’s carrying a BA of .333 into Friday’s game against the Chicago White Sox. That’s good enough for second in the MLB. He has seven hits in his last three games, this line only needs one today.
