Vonn Bell Put’s On Masterclass Performance In Bengals 27-15 Win

Safety Vonn Bell put on a show for the Cincinnati Bengals defense last night. Not only was Bell very solid in coverage, but he also did exactly what he usually does and made big plays around the line of scrimmage. Bell usually falls under the shadow of the Cincinnati defense, but last night in primetime, he put everyone on notice.

The Bengals were in a close game throughout the night, and Vonn Bell intercepted both QBs in the game for the Dolphins last night. Tua Tagovailoa got picked off throwing up a deep ball by Bell, and then on a late game drive by Teddy Bridgewater in Bengals territory that could have resulted in the Dolphins taking the lead. Bell got another interception as well and returned it for 35+ yards. That interception really locked up a victory last night.

Vonn Bell This Season For Bengals

Bell has a current 71.8 Pro Football Focus grade so far this year and has only been targeted a total of ten times yet has one of the highest snap count percentages for the Bengals defense. Vonn Bell isn’t really known for his ball-hawking skills. He is a guy that can rush the passer from the edge, he’s a really stout tackler in the open field, and he attacks the football at a high level.

Cincinnati now moves to 2-2 and has just about ten days to get ready for their next matchup, which is next Sunday against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday Night Football which should set the scene for an electric AFC North in Baltimore.
