This NFL Star Sets Record-Breaking Goal For 2024

Bijan Robinson Has Eyes Set On 2K
Falcons running-back Bijan Robinson has his mind set on breaking 2,000 rushing yards.
Bijan Robinson had a good rookie season in Atlanta after being selected in the first round in 2023, but he wants to become the ninth running back to hit the 2K mark. Robinson wasn't the only sophomore running back with that goal. Former Titans star Chris Johnson hit that mark in his second year with 2,006 rushing yards and was named first-team All-Pro.
Robinson would have a slow rookie year rushing for only 976 yards and four touchdowns but was used less than he should have been under head coach Arthur Smith. With new coordinator Zac Robinson calling plays, who helped fifth-round pick Kyren Williams breakout in 2023, it is very possible Bijan can hit 2,000 rushing yards in 2024.
While Bijan Robinson did not hit the 2,000 rushing yard mark at all during his college career at Texas University, he did come close during his junior and final season at the school. He rushed for 1,580 yards, added 314 in the receiving game, and scored a whopping 18 rushing touchdowns. No wonder the Atlanta Falcons fell in love with him.
Tyreek Hill said last season he wanted to break 2,000 receiving yards. While he fell short of his goal, he was chasing something that's never been done before. With many 2,000-yard rushers in the NFL's storied history, most recently Derrick Henry, it is very possible Robinson can join that exclusive club in 2024.
