These Five NASCAR Drivers Are The Favorites To Win In Iowa

Following a caution-filled race in Sonoma last weekend, the NASCAR Cup Series will shift to Iowa for the Iowa Corn 350. They'll run 350 laps Sunday at Iowa Speedway, the first time ever the Cup Series will race at this track.

Who will win the inaugural race at this Speedway? Here are the five betting favorites to win in Iowa this weekend.

5) Joey Logano +1000

5) Joey Logano +1000

The Team Penske Fords have run well recently, and they'll look to build on that this weekend in Iowa. Logano won the pole last weekend in Sonoma and led 16 laps despite his 21st-place finish. Every race is crucial for the 22-car, as they currently sit in the final playoff position, only 11 points ahead of Chase Briscoe. Logano will be fighting for a win to secure his place in the playoffs, and that need-to-win mentality could make him an interesting driver to bet on at +1000 odds.

4) Ryan Blaney +800

We're now two weeks removed from the heart-breaking loss for Ryan Blaney and the 12-team at World Wide Technology Raceway. The defending NASCAR Cup Series champion finished seventh at Sonoma last weekend and currently sits 12th in the standings with 444 points. Blaney is looking to earn his first trip to victory lane this season and is +800 to win in Iowa.

3) Kyle Larson +700

3) Kyle Larson +700

Kyle Larson is having another great season. The 31-year-old leads the Cup Series standings with 561 points. Larson won his third race of the year last weekend and has shown no signs of slowing down. He's one of the best drivers in the field, and his skill could prove beneficial on a track few of these drivers have never seen.

2) Denny Hamlin +700

2) Denny Hamlin +700

Denny Hamlin said on his podcast this week that he doesn't know what to expect at Iowa Speedway this Sunday. The veteran is coming off a disappointing trip to California, as he was forced to exit the race in lap two thanks to engine troubles. Despite earning no points in Sonoma, Hamlin is third in the Cup Series standings with 535 points. He's on a mission to win his first NASCAR championship, and winning in Iowa would be a great step toward that goal.

1) Christopher Bell +375

1) Christopher Bell +375

Christopher Bell recorded his ninth top-ten finish of the year last weekend, earning 28 points. The 20-car has gone to victory lane twice this season and has finished in the top five on four occasions. Bell ran this track five times during his time in the Xfinity Series, winning two times and finishing second twice. With plenty of experience and success at this racetrack, Bell has a massive advantage over the rest of the field.
