The Champion Speaks, Patriots Nation Should Listen: Pats-Bears Prop Bets

The Patriots take the national stage on Monday night in their first primetime game of the season. Coming off of two massive wins, they have all the momentum heading into their matchup against the Chicago Bears, a team struggling most of the season.

Since their devastating loss to the Ravens, things have changed in Foxboro. The offense has found its identity. They have scored 24 points in the last three games. The 4th round draft pick zapped with some much-needed energy.

The Patriots’ defense continues to be unstoppable. The defensive line is causing chaos in the backfield. The secondary patrols the air. It’s challenging to put up points against this group.

Does the question remain, who is going to shine this week? Which player is going to be the driving force in a win? The champion of the Patriot peeps is here to give you these answers. So here are the prop bets I’m playing this week.

Mac Jones throws for OVER 215 yards.

Mac Jones is the Patriots’ starting quarterback. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the truth is in front of our faces. Zappe did his job, keeping the team’s playoff hopes alive. But it’s McCorkle time.

The Patriots reverted to their usual offensive game plan the week after Mac went down with the injury. Jones returns to the offense that made him a pro bowler in his rookie season. He’ll be looking to end any debates about the Patriots’ starting job on Monday itself.

Davis Mills threw for 245 yards against the Bears in week three. Mac is a much better quarterback than him. It’s a fish-in-a-barrel type of play.

Rhomandre Stevenson rushes for OVER 61 yards.

He is moving on to another guaranteed outcome. Rhomadre Stevenson has breathed new life into the Patriots’ rushing attack. He carries the ball like an all-pro in only his second season. Even with Damien Harris in the lineup, Stevenson finds a way to make a significant impact.

Stevenson has finished with double-digit carries and 60+ yards in every game since week two. He’s averaging a little over five yards per carry. The Bears have allowed the ninth-most rushing yards this season. Don’t forget Dre.

Jakobi Meyers Catches OVER Six Passes.

The Patriots have a lot of depth and talent at the wide receiver position. With names like Devante Parker and Kendrick Bourne, the undrafted player is the apple of Mac’s eye. Jakobi Meyers continues to be the workhorse of the receivers.

The last time Mac Jones and Meyers shared a football field, they created magic. Jones targeted Meyers 13 times; he caught nine passes. He’s going to eat against this lukewarm Bears secondary.

Deatrich Wise sacks Justin Fields OVER 1.5 times.

Many compare Justin Fields to Lamar Jackson based on their playstyles. Both quarterbacks love to utilize their legs to move the ball downfield. It can throw defenses off their game plan. The Patriots are not like other defenses.

Deatrich Wise sacked Lamar Jackson three times in the first half. He refused to let Jackson keep plays alive by being patient on the line. The Ravens are a much better team with an even better offensive line than the Bears.

Chicago has allowed 23 sacks in 2022, the fourth most in the league. Wise might not be the only pass rusher to feast on Monday night, but he’ll be leading the charge.

Belichick Dethrones Papa Bear For Second In All-Time Wins.

Sometimes the best part about sports is not the action on the field but the storylines surrounding it. For example, there are a lot of storylines surrounding New England’s Football Team, but the best one does not involve any of the players.

Belichick tied George “Papa Bear” Halas after demolishing the Browns a week ago. This week, he has a chance to knock him off the mountain against the team he created. Another achievement in the laundry list of accolades seems inevitable at this point.

Breaking records is always fun; it’s even better when done on primetime television.

Go Pats.
