The Browns Land A Head- Scratching Offensive Coordinator

The Cleveland Browns have finally found their offensive coordinator, and it's a familiar face. Ken Dorsey, who fans may remember as the team's quarterback in the mid-2000s, has been hired as the Browns' next offensive coordinator.

Dorsey last was the offensive coordinator for the Buffalo Bills but got fired in the middle of the 2023 season.

Bill's offense was not exactly taking off with Dorsey, and then he was fired, and the team took off under new OC Joe Brady.

Since Kevin Stefanski, the Browns' head coach, has been the primary play-caller since his hiring in 2020, Dorsey's role will likely focus more on developing the team's quarterbacks rather than calling plays.

Dorsey has worked with very talented quarterbacks as a quarterback coach; he was the Carolina Panthers quarterback coach with Cam Newton, a quarterback coach for the Bills, and helped Josh Allen grow.

I'm assuming the Browns have liked what they have seen from Dorsey in helping quarterbacks, and hopefully, he can get Deshaun Watson back to his elite self.

Stefanski knows what he is doing, and he wouldn't hire someone he wouldn't trust, so I have to count on his knowledge here.
