NFL Week One: Cowboys vs Bucs Odds, Props And Best Bets
Will the Dallas Cowboys be able to take advantage of playing at home with Tampa Bay‘s offensive line woes to get revenge after last year? Or will a rejuvenated Tom Brady come out ahead of Micah Parsons’ pass rush? I can’t wait for September 11th to get here to find out. In the meantime, these are the bets we are making.
When the schedule first came out, I thought this would be an easy bet to make. I mean Tom Brady had “unretired” and was going to lead the Tampa Bay Bucs again this season. Yes, Bruce Arians decided to retire and not coach this season. Todd Bowles became the head coach for Tampa Bay. As the season got closer then fans started hearing rumors about Brady not coming to training camp. Tom Brady left camp for reasons unknown, but he’s back now.
Us, Dallas Cowboys fans thought we had it bad when left tackle, Tyron Smith got injured. However, Tampa has had it worse on their offensive line. Their left guard, Ali Marpet unexpectantly retired while the right guard went to Cincinnati. Then Tom Brady favorite center, Ryan Jensen suffered a possible season-ending knee injury early in training camp. Then Marpet’s replacement at left guard, Aaron Stinnie suffered a torn ACL and MCL during the second preseason game.
Dallas’ defense was a positive aspect of the team last season with Micah Parsons and DeMarcus Lawrence as the leaders. Pressuring Tom Brady right up the middle has to be one of the Cowboys’ goals. Another one of their goals has to be finding an offensive rhythm with the new wide receiving corps and quarterback, Dak Prescott. Last season, he threw for 403 yards with three touchdowns.

Cowboys vs Bucs Odds
With the Cowboys being at home for this year’s season opener, I think they take the game both on the moneyline and with this spread due to the Buccaneers’ offensive line not being able to keep Tom Brady upright and allow him time to throw.
