NFL Power Rankings: Entering Week 3

The third week of the NFL season is finally here! After a week of upsets, the power rankings ahead of Week 3 are shaken up! Are the Kansas City Chiefs still number one? How far do the Bengals and Ravens fall? Which teams are Super Bowl contenders? Who will be in line for the first-overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft?

Super Bowl Favorites

#1 - Kansas City Chiefs (LW: 1)

The defending Super Bowl champions barely squeaked out a win over Cincinnati.


#2 - San Francisco 49ers (LW: 2)

After losing as big favorites in Minnesota, the 49ers looked out of their comfort zone.


#3 - Detroit Lions (LW: 3)

Detroit had multiple chances to win but ultimately fell to a hot Buccaneers team.


#4 - Buffalo Bills (LW: 11)

The Bills dismantled the Dolphins and played nearly a perfect game on TNF.


#5 - Tampa Bay Buccaneers (LW: 19)

Tampa Bay has looked like a Super Bowl contender the past two weeks.

#6 - Houston Texans (LW: 8)

The Texans didn't look as good as last week, but Houston won on SNF to improve to 2-0.


#7 - Philadelphia Eagles (LW: 5)

The Eagles's late loss to Atlanta drops Philly to 2-7 in their last nine dating back to last season.


#8 - Baltimore Ravens (LW: 4)

Baltimore was upset by Las Vegas in a game they should have easily won.


#9 - Cincinnati Bengals (LW: 6)

The Bengals are now 0-2 to start the season, but they have been here before.


#10 - Dallas Cowboys (LW: 10)

After the blowout to New Orleans, should Dallas Cowboys fans be concerned?

#11 - New Orleans Saints (LW: 24)

New Orleans is the hottest team in the NFL, scoring 40+ points in both games.


#12 - Arizona Cardinals (LW: 26)

Arizona has been playing well and made a statement win over the Rams.


#13 - Pittsburgh Steelers (LW: 17) Pittsburgh is 2-0 with Justin Fields under center with great help from the defense.


#14 - Green Bay Packers (LW: 9)

The Packers ran all over Indianapolis and proved they could win even without Jordan Love.


#15 - Seattle Seahawks (LW: 23)

The Seahawks have a chance to be 3-0 after a battle with the Tua-less Dolphins this week.

#16 - Los Angeles Chargers (LW: 21)

LA is undefeated after two weeks with one of the league's best rushing attacks!


#17 - New York Jets (LW: 16)

It wasn't pretty, but the Jets won in Week 2 over Tennessee.


#18 - Cleveland Browns (LW: 14)

The Browns escaped Jacksonville with a huge win to move to 1-1.


#19 - Miami Dolphins (LW: 7)

Miami lost quarterback Tua Tagovailoa for at least four weeks after a concussion.


#20 - Atlanta Falcons (LW: 15)

Kirk Cousins was clutch leading the Falcons to a comeback victory over Philly.

#21 - Minnesota Vikings (LW: 27)

Minnesota has surprised many people following an upset win over San Francisco.


#22 - Chicago Bears (LW: 20)

The Bears' defense has been great, but their offense is concerning.


#23 - Jacksonville Jaguars (LW: 13)

The Jaguars have played well enough to win both games but sit 0-2.


#24 - Los Angeles Rams (LW: 12)

Los Angeles is suffering injury after injury, and it doesn't help that Arizona blew them out.


#25 - Las Vegas Raiders (LW: 25) Las Vegas looked much better than last week in a massive upset over Baltimore.


#26 - Indianapolis Colts (LW: 18)

Indianapolis was very disappointing after losing to the Jordan Love-less Packers.


#27 - New England Patriots (LW: 31)

New England should have beaten Seattle but lost in overtime.


#28 - Washington Commanders (LW: 29)

The Commanders picked up their first win of the season despite scoring no touchdowns.

First overall pick contenders

#29 - Tennessee Titans (LW: 22)

The Titans could be 2-0 right now, but turnovers by Will Levis keep them winless.


#30 - New York Giants (LW: 30)

New York played well enough to win but fell short.


#31 - Denver Broncos (LW: 28)

The Broncos are ways away from being a playoff contender.


#32 - Carolina Panthers (LW: 32)

It looks like the Panthers will pick first overall again in April.
