New Name

Last season, it was called the In-Season Tournament, which was a bland name. It was so bland that even the Washington Commanders and Utah Hockey Club were jealous of it. It will be called the NBA Cup, which is a much better name. It is also being sponsored by the airline company, Emirates. The NBA gets more sponsorship money as a result of this Tournament.

The NBA Cup is pointless as a whole. It's not as bad as the Play-In Tournament, as that just puts mediocrity on a pedestal. Hopefully, the NBA gets rid of those awful courts used last season. It was so annoying to watch them play on those courts, and it needs to be changed for next season. At least the NBA Cup name is a lot better than the In-Season Tournament label it received last season.
