Lewis Hamilton Shakes The F1 World With New Contract
It was announced this morning that the seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton is expected to leave Mercedes and join Ferrari for the 2025 F1 season, replacing Carlos Sainz.

Hamilton's current contract with Mercedes was set to expire after the 2025 season, but he will leave with one year remaining. Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc will remain with the team, as he recently signed an extension.
Hamilton Expected To Join Ferrari
Ferrari has yet to make a formal announcement, but all signs point to them releasing a statement later today. The season officially begins February 28th, so there will be plenty more information released before then.
This deal is massive for Ferrari, as they've failed to compete with the top team Red Bull in recent years. They've developed tremendous cars and have battled for second place consistently, but never challenging Max Verstappen at the top. They are hoping Hamilton will change that.
