Former NFL Wide Receiver Brandon Marshall Picked A Surprise Team Who Could Make This Season’s

Former NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall was on the FanDuel TV show Up & Adams hosted by Kay Adams on Friday, and he brought up some teams that could be in Arizona for the Super Bowl in February.

Marshall brought up teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, and San Francisco 49ers, but he brought up a team that was a big surprise.

Marshall stated that the Washington Commanders could be this year’s surprise team.

A Surprise Team Could Make A Run

Marshall stated that there is a team every year that is a surprise team, and he gave the example of last year’s Cincinnati Bengals team nobody had making the Super Bowl except Kay Adams, who was saying it for four months last year.

The Commanders are 7-5-1 on the season. They started the season with Carson Wentz at quarterback and had a losing record of 2-4 with him, and then Wentz got injured, and Taylor Heinicke came in, and the team is 5-1-1 with him.

Washington is the only team to beat the Eagles this season, and they have been playing like one of the best teams in the league over the past two months.

At one point this season, I thought head coach Ron Rivera was on the hot seat, but his seat is now cool, and the playoffs should be in their sights.

Will The Commanders Make The Playoffs?

The Commanders are in third place in the NFC East, which has been the best division in football this season, with all four teams being above .500, and the Eagles and Cowboys might be the two best teams in the NFC.

Washington has the second wild card seed in the NFC, and they look to be in control of a playoff spot. But, unfortunately, their last four games are not accessible.

They have to play the New York Giants, who are also 7-5-1 and tied with them two weeks ago; they have to travel to San Francisco and play the red-hot 49ers, Cleveland Browns and Deshaun Watson, and they close out against the Cowboys.

Washington will win two out of the last four games, and they are a playoff team, and we will have to see if they make a surprise run like we have seen teams do in years past.
