Five Amazing Cleveland Guardians Made The 2024 All-Star Game

The All-Star game is about a week away. The Cleveland Guardians, who were supposed to be a team in the middle of the pack this season, ended up starting the season on fire, have kept it up for the last three months, and currently sit at the top of the American League with the best record in baseball and their great play has been noticed by many around the MLB and five players will represent the A.L. in the All-Star game.

5. José Ramírez

José Ramírez

José Ramírez has locked down the starting spot in the All-Star game at third base, and there is no argument to be made that he shouldn't be the guy. This will be Ramírez's sixth All-Star game, and this season, he has a.271 batting average, 23 home runs, 76 RBI, and 16 stolen bases.

4. Steven Kwan

Steven Kwan

Steven Kwan has been a hitting machine this season. Even though he missed almost a month with an injury, he still managed to lock down a starting spot in the outfield. Kwan leads the league with a .364 batting average and has logged 92 hits in 253 at-bats.

3. Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor

Josh Naylor was not selected as a starter, but he made the All-Star game as a reserve first baseman, which will be his first all-star appearance. Naylor has 21 home runs and 66 RBI this season and has been one of the best clean-up hitters in the game this year. He has also been a great source of power in the four-hole and the main reason the offense has taken off this year.

2. Emmanuel Clase

Emmanuel Clase

Clase is heading into his third straight All-Star game and has made himself the best closer in baseball. He leads the league with 27 saves and has an ERA of 0.83. Clase has been almost perfect this season, and he will head back to Texas for the All-Star game, where he was traded from to Cleveland in 2019.

David Fry

In his second season in the MLB, David Fry made the All-Star game, which shocked many people around the league but not Cleveland fans. Fry has been able to lock down the designated hitter, first base, outfield, and third base, and he could also probably pitch. There is always a position for him, and they must find a way to get his bat in the lineup every night. He is batting .319 with five home runs and 19 RBIs in 100 plate appearances against left-handed pitchers this season.
