Eagles Vs Vikings Predictions: Fly Eagles Nation Week Two
The Philadelphia Eagles are getting set to host the Minnesota Vikings on Monday Night Football. Both teams won in Week One, so this should be an exciting matchup.
The Vikings won the last two meetings with the Eagles winning the two prior to that. Philadelphia has an all-time record of 14-15 against Minnesota. The most memorable game was the 2017 NFC Championship victory to advance to Super Bowl 52. Both teams are extremely different than back then, so anything can happen on Monday.
Fly Eagles Nation Predictions
The writers of Fly Eagles Nation have made their predictions for the Week Two game on Monday Night.
Antonio: Eagles 42-35
The Eagles defense just has to contain the Vikings offense. Jalen Hurts will find AJ Brown and Devonta Smith for two touchdowns a piece. Hurts outlast Kirk Cousins in an absolute shootout and Monday night classic!
JC: Eagles 24-21
In a Monday night shoot out, the Eagles defeat the Vikings 24-21. Giving the Eagles their first week 2 victory since 2016. AJ Brown will get his first touchdown as an Eagle. Jalen Hurts will once again get a rushing touchdown along with Miles Sanders. The real story will be the defensive effort by both teams. However, the Eagles defensive line will show dominance. Darius Slay will once again prove why he is a top corner in the league, as he keeps Justin Jefferson silent. Jake Elliott will once again make a clutch field goal, sealing the Eagles victory.
Jose: Eagles 35-31
With an offensive storm brewing on Monday night, both defenses will be in for a long one. Justin Jefferson and A.J. Brown will put on a show in Philadelphia Monday night, with each scoring a touchdown. Miles Sanders and Dalvin Cook will provide their offenses with efficient performances in an attempt to keep both offenses off the field in this one, but Jalen Hurts makes one more play than Kirk and the Eagles win 35-31.
Kevin: Eagles 30-28
The Eagles offense looked impressive in the road win against the Lions, but the defense kept Detroit in it. Philadelphia can’t afford to let Kirk Cousins and Justin Jefferson have their way, but the Eagles have a counterattack in wide receiver A.J. Brown and an elite running game. Look for the game to be close with the Eagles’ home field advantage and crowd noise to carry them to victory. A 2-0 start to the season would set the Eagles up perfectly as they face a division rival in Week Three.

Zachary (Cheesehead Checkdown): Vikings 26-19 The battle between Justin Jefferson and AJ Brown. Outside of Brown there isn’t much, so expect the Vikings secondary to clamp down on Brown and push Jalen Hurts out of the pocket. Jalen Hurts will need his legs to move the chains in this game. JJ and Adam Thielen will go back and forth on receptions and move the chains as Dalvin Cook puts up 150+ scrimmage yards. Vikings will lead the whole game.
Beau (Bengal Breakdown): Eagles 27-17
Jalen Reagor catches a touchdown as time expires. Philly fans start throwing batteries at him as he walks off the field holding the touchdown ball in the air victoriously. It doesn’t actually affect the final score, Eagles win 27-17, but it’s a great moment in Philly sports history.
Ronnie (Bills Beat): Vikings 30-27
The Vikings’ explosive offense coupled with a newfound pass rush will prove to be too much for the Eagles to come out on top in the end. Vikings line up for a game-winning field goal as time expires.
