The Philadelphia Eagles will bring their undefeated record to Arizona to take on the 2-2 Cardinals in Week Five.
While the Eagles have been impressive, they can’t take the Cardinals lightly. The Eagles have not won on the road in Arizona since 2001 in the old Sun Devil Stadium. Philadelphia’s last victory over the Cardinals occurred in 2017.
Will the Eagles win this game to remain undefeated? Check out the predictions from the writers of Fly Eagles Nation and Stadium Rant.
Fly Eagles Nation Predictions
Kevin Brzostek: Eagles 31 Cardinals 14
The Eagles had to use a completely different gameplan due to the weather in their win over the Jaguars last week. Jalen Hurts will dominate the Cardinals defense while the Eagles will shut down Kyler Murray. Eagles’ fans travel well so don’t be surprised if it’s mostly Philly fans in the stands by the end of the game.
Antonio Perez: Eagles 31 Cardinals 27
Cardinals are nobody to look over. Well, Kyler Murray is no one to look over. Jalen Hurts outperforms his Oklahoma predecessor and throws 2 touchdowns along with 350+ yards.
Stadium Rant Predictions
A few of the writers over at Stadium Rant helped make their predictions for the game.
Tyler Lamb (Gillette Gazette): Eagles 31 Cardinals 17
The Cards have won two games by playing well in two quarters of football Eagles should win that game handle that game just fine 31-17 to the birds. Kyler and Kliff are imploding and should really be 0-4.
Ronnie Eastham (Bills Beat): Cardinals 36 Eagles 34
I think the Eagles’ run comes to end here, with their first loss of the season. This turns into a shootout in the second half, with the Cardinals taking it 36 – 34.
Tom Ayling (Bills Beat): Eagles 27 Cardinals 21
I think Hurts is still a work in progress, but he is accurate enough and AJB is an easy target. I think Philly still has elite offensive line in NFL and Hurts will do enough to win the game.
Brock Wells (Red Bird Recap): Eagles 24 Cardinals 28
Likely Eagles. Cards spend too much of their games on wasted plays. If they do that against the Eagles, they’ll be in a hole they can’t crawl out of. If they play to their capability, it’ll be an interesting game.”
