The Blazers have sent guard Damian Lillard to Milwaukee to play with superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo. This trade is a three-team deal with the Phoenix Suns, as well.
The Bucks sent Jrue Holiday, Deandre Ayton, Toumani Camara, Bucks 2029 first-round pick, and pick swaps in 2028 and 2030, which are all unprotected.
The Suns received Jusuf Nurkic, Grayson Allen, Nassir Little, and Keon Johnson.
This all comes after an offseason of rumors growing that Lillard might request a trade soon. He officially asked for a trade in June and finally, in September they granted his request.
This is huge for the Bucks in helping keep their franchise star Giannis Antetokounmpo in Milwaukee. He said that he loves playing for the Bucks but he loves competing for NBA championships. Since the Dame trade, the Bucks jumped from having the fourth odds to win the Finals to the favorite.
This team is going to be a legitimate championship contender and one of the best duo's in the NBA.
