Burrow And Chase Put On A Show In NOLA

After leading LSU to a National Championship in 2019 at the Caesers Superdome in New Orleans, Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase returned to the great state of Louisiana where they were fan favorites. But this time as the opposition with the Cincinnati Bengals.

Both were welcomed with cheers and this was a hometown game for Chase who grew up near the area. Ja’Marr had many friends and family in attendance and didn’t let them down by any means. Both Burrow and Chase had their best games of the season and got the job done together.

Burrow Finds Chase Twice In Second Half

Burrow connected on two touchdown passes to Chase in the second half and that is exactly where Ja’Marr Chase did most of his damage. Trailing 26-21 late in the 4th quarter Burrow found Chase on a little curl which resulted in a broken tackle and the rest of his history after Chase got to that second level and had the open field to himself after beating one more defender which ended up being a 60 yard TD pass and catch.

His speed was too much for the Saints’ secondary and he gave the Bengals the lead with just under 2 minutes left to play. Cincinnati went on to win 30-26 after trailing for most of the day and now move to 3-3 overall which ties them up with the Baltimore Ravens record wise at the top of the AFC North.
