Bucs Linebacker Devin White Wins His First Defensive Player Of The Month Honors

While the Bucs were away in SE FL, preparing for the Kansas City Chiefs, Devin White earned his first player of the month honors.

As the Buccaneers prepare for the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night, they have been in Davie, Florida, all week preparing for the matchup.

Without All-Pro wide receiver Mike Evans on Sunday, who was suspended for an altercation with Marshon Lattimore in the New Orleans game, the Buc’s offense ground to a halt in a 14-12 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Evans talked about missing the game this week and what he needs to do. “I’ve got to be better for my team Evans said on Thursday. I felt like I could’ve helped us win last week.”

With Evans suspended, Chris Godwin, and Julio Jones out with injuries, the Bucs rolled out a below-average receiver group in Russell Gage, Breshad Perriman, and Jaelon Dardon.

With Godwin practicing this week, and Julio Jones participating on a limited basis, the Bucs may have their starting wide receivers in the lineup for the first time since week one against Dallas.
