Broncos 2022 Record Prediction: Week Six Through Eleven

The Broncos’ 2022 slate of games is a tough one, especially in the revamped AFC West. We’re breaking down each matchup with predictions, this time week six through eleven.

The Broncos 2022 schedule is packed full of premier matchups, between the AFC West and the rest of the opponents on their upcoming slate of games. We’re breaking down the schedule into four parts. After previewing the first five games of the season last week, now its time to look towards the next five games from week six through eleven.

Week Six: Los Angeles Chargers

The Broncos are on the road in week six traveling to SOFI Stadium. This game will be very gritty, and I expect a lot of scoring! The Chargers had an eventful off-season this year, they re-signed a key part of the offense in Mike Williams. Also, they brought in some strong pieces on defense as well with players like JC Jackson, Kyle Van Noy, Bryce Callahan, and Khalil Mack. While I think this will be a higher-scoring matchup I believe the Charger’s defense will be the deciding factor in week six, Broncos leave week six with a loss and 4-2 record.

Week Seven: New York Jets

The Jets will be facing the Broncos fresh off of a loss and in enemy territory in week seven. I expect the Broncos to take the in-division loss to heart and come out swinging. The Jets have one of the better young cores in the NFL, they have tons of potential but have a long road to travel. The Broncos have the better experience and better talent at this time and don’t see how the Jets will stand a chance. Broncos leave week seven 5-2.

Week Eight: Jacksonville Jaguars

In week eight at Wembley Stadium, the Jaguars will host the Broncos fresh off of a win. The Jaguars might have a generational talent at quarterback, but other than that they are lacking everywhere else. They are coming in with a new head coach in Doug Pederson who brought the Eagles to a Super Bowl victory in 2018, while he is an accomplished coach he has his hands full with a roster that is full of overpaid mediocre players. Broncos should not have any issues leaving Jacksonville with another win, they will head into the BYE week 6-2.

Week Nine: BYE

Broncos go into the bye week feeling very confident and getting some much-needed rest.

Week Ten: Tennessee Titans

Broncos are back on the road traveling to the home of King Henry. Bronco’s defensive front has a tough task ahead of them in stopping the league’s best running back. If the defense can contain Henry and keep him under 100 yards I would say that the game would fall into the hands of Russell Wilson and the offense. Titans’ defense has been constantly above average since Vrabel took over as head coach. The Broncos will have a top ten scoring offense coming into this week and I believe that will be enough to leave Nissan Stadium 7-2.

Week Eleven: Las Vegas Raiders

The Broncos take on the Raiders for the second time this year, except this time they have home-field advantage. Revenge will be the motto for Denver this time, after losing to the Raiders in week four and taking another loss to another division rival in week six. Meanwhile, the Raiders will be coming into this game with the idea of sweeping one of their division rivals, which could give them an upper hand when it comes to making the playoffs.

Division games are always a dog fight and expect no less than that in the second meeting. Broncos will edge out the Raiders and take the win and split the season series. This will make every game moving forward for both teams critical to winning for playoff purposes.

I have the Broncos ending weeks one through eleven with a record of 8-2! Denver will be going into week twelve with a very strong record and possibly first place in the AFC West, But the season isn’t done yet. Next week I will be finishing my season predictions and talking about the Bronco’s final games against the Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, Kansas City Chiefs, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Los Angeles Chargers.
