Brady And Belichick Laugh As They Prove Everyone Wrong Again
The greatest quarterback of all time, Tom Brady, retired last week at 45, and he went on his Let’s Go Podcast on Monday night with Larry Fitzgerald and Jim Gray. A special guest joined the podcast, and that would be New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick.
Tom and Bill were a coach and quarterback duo in New England for 20 seasons, and they went to nine Super Bowls and won six.
The GOAT left New England in the spring of 2020 to join the Tampa Bay Buccaneers after his contract was up, and New England had no desire to bring him back.
Brady and Belichick Supposed Beef
The narrative surrounding Brady and Belichick was that they didn’t like each other, and both wanted to prove that they could win without the other.
Whenever you bring up the Patriots and their six Super Bowl trophies, it always comes back to who was more responsible for them, and a war breaks out.
When Brady left the Patriots three years ago, the supposed feud was the only thing people could talk about when one was having success, and the other wasn’t. So when Brady won the Super Bowl with the Buccaneers in his first season, everyone had to rush to social media to give their take on why Brady was the reason why the Patriots had all the success in the first place.
When Tom returned to New England in 2021 to play his former team, he and Bill sat down for 20 mins together in a room to talk, and somehow the narrative was still going on that they didn’t like each other.
They Prove Everyone Wrong Again
Finally, Monday night came, and we could listen to the greatest duo ever publicly speak to each other, and Brady brought up that people were always trying to pull them apart and wanted to divide them.

Brady also talked about how they had a great relationship and might not have seen eye to eye on everything, but they had great respect for each other.
Belichick talked about how much Tom elevated everyone around him and how he got a lot of talent out of many players. Finally, Belichick congratulated his former QB on the most remarkable career of an NFL player, and you could hear the emotion in Brady’s voice when he said that he appreciated it.

The GOAT sounded very choked up talking to Belichick, and it didn’t sound like two men that were jealous and wanted to upstage each other.
Listening to Brady and Belichick talk, and could tell just how grateful they were to work every day with each other for 20 years, and they both had two legendary careers.

It is time to put to rest the lazy narrative that Brady and Belichick didn’t like each other and wanted to show the other that they could succeed without them.
Brady put together one of the best careers in the NFL and all sports, and Belichick might go down as the greatest NFL head coach ever.
When Belichick decides to hang up the headset and retire from coaching, will officially be the end of one of the best eras in NFL history.
