Alabama Fans Are Screaming To Not Hire This Head Coach

Alabama will be looking for a new head coach after Nick Saban retired on Wednesday, and fans took to campus to express their opinions on who should be their next head coach.

Everyone will be okay with whoever if it is not Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney

There is a video going around of Alabama students screaming everyone but Dabo!

Swinney is an Alabama man playing and coaching there and has always been rumored to be the guy to take over at Alabama when Saban retires.

Many fans wouldn't be happy if they landed Swinney, and I agree.

Swinney should be eager for a change, especially considering the current state of his team, Clemson, which is lacking vitality. They play in the ACC, a conference that, despite its status, is often treated as if it's not one of the major' Power Five' conferences in college football.

Swinney is past his prime as a coach, and you can tell the past three seasons he doesn't have it anymore. He won't adapt to the transfer portal and NIL.

Alabama needs a new, young, bright coach like Dan Lanning from Oregon, not Swinney, who still thinks he is coaching in 2012. It doesn't matter who Swinney's offensive coordinator or quarterback is anymore because his offense looks stuck in 1980.

Swinney has only been great when he has generational talent like Deshaun Watson or Trevor Lawrence, and you can't rely on that every season.

Alabama should not call Swinney because he might turn that program into Florida before you know it.
